  1. Amazing that Creep is this high!
  2. IDWTMAT is OK, I certainly prefer it to TCM!
  3. If Master of Puppets doesn't appear here (and I'm fairly sure it won't) then that proves it really!
  4. Also good to hear Come As You Are today, sure that won't be the last Nirvana song we hear in this countdown too!
  5. Great to see Losing My Religion this high!
  6. Yes, that got skipped at #196.
  7. The last skip was Sandstorm! :( Hopefully no more skips to come now that we're this high up.
  8. There's Piano Man :magic:
  9. How is The Gambler that high?!
  10. OK I think Uptown Girl ends it for me, not too bad though
  11. I was surprised by that too!
  12. Basket Case at 95, how much longer can this run go on for?!
  13. And Natalie Imbruglia at 96, quite interesting how big the jump in quality has generally been from 107 onwards!
  14. I do enjoy the Luude version too but it is good to hear the original again!
  15. After all those good songs being just outside the top 100 I'm relieved that #100 is also a great tune, Song 2  The original Down Under straight afterwards too, nice.
  16. Blue Monday so close to the top 100! :drama: Great track though. Surprised Don't You Want Me isn't in the top 100 too, another one that deserved to be in there.
  17. Switching to George Michael now!
  18. Still voting for Madonna

That would depend on whether or not you use the week ending date, since that chart was announced in 2021! Could imagine Lewis Capaldi might put another single out before the end of the year though?
  20. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out would be my highlight from today, glad that made it.

There are still two months left of this year, but would be an interesting stat if it does stay that way!

Think the closest example I've found for the #10/#11 peak 'enduring classics' might be The Anthem by Good Charlotte and Don't Look Back Into The Sun by The Libertines, depending on one's definition of classic (they still get relatively healthy streams) but still nowhere near the same level.
  23. They must have mixed up its chart peak with Brianstorm, kinda surprised that isn't in their top 10!
  24. The OCC rewriting history to give 505 the high chart peak it deserved
