Radio 1 isn't really supposed to have a playlist consisting of all the current chart hits and nothing else  (And if you've got an issue with The 1975 being on the A list based on the current single's performance you should be looking at Sub Focus, Rina and Yungblud too tbh)
  2. It was over 1.5m yes! If we're considering his 2005 level as not being high enough then I don't think the GH era in 2004 could be included either. Of course his GH album did well as it had all of his massive hits from the previous years but as far as the singles are concerned Tripping did better than Radio and Advertising Space did better than Misunderstood!
  3. I would definitely still include 2005's Intensive Care era in that, Tripping was a much bigger hit than his 2004 tracks (even though it didn't reach #1 like Radio did) and the album did pretty well too! Would agree that Rudebox killed that momentum pretty quickly though
  4. Christina's Dirrty had the weakest #1 sales of those three (even on its first week) - her second week at #1 (which is also the same week he released Escapology) would have been the best opportunity for it!
  5. Erasure again!

Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran had this song together in 2015 called Rewind Repeat It which got played at a lot of his festival sets but never got released because of label issues. It probably would have been a massive hit at the time! -z-oU1hFQCk
  7. The OCC forgetting that Sexed Up did chart at #10 oops :kink: Still, fascinating to see this info! Unsurprising that Angels is his biggest hit to date but very impressive that it has nearly doubled the sales of his second biggest considering it wasn't one of his seven #1s! Also very interesting that all of his 31 top 10 hits are still in his 40 biggest songs.
  8. Switching to Starlight now!

Another Love, I think. Even though that was already reset last week.
  10. Also new top 100 peaks for Bound 2 at #34, I Wanna Be Yours at #39, Static at #60 and LA Leakers Freestyle at #65, and pleasing to see The Weeknd's Die For You (#94) in the top 100 for the first time since the album release in 2016!

Sure, and unsurprising too, but radio has different rules!

Even the presenters knew that was an odd decision to play I'm Good (Blue) this weekend

Very surprised they've chosen to play this!

No Excuses was probably the most logical choice of song to skip so far to be fair!

  18. Not that fake You Don't Care thing getting as high as #32 today :drama: The new Central Cee track climbs to #68, also new peaks for Oxlade's Ku Lo Sa at #34, Keane's Somewhere Only We Know at #120 and Kordhell's Murder In My Mind at #156. That'll be a re-peak yes.

Same could be said for Mirrors, Diamonds, Loud Places, Hey Now, and probably some others I'm forgetting. They've probably played Cornerstone by Arctic Monkeys and This Town by Niall Horan more in the last 24 hours than the last year
