I feel like I'm going to need a few more listens to get a firmer opinion on this. Right now, it's definitely a solid album but there wasn't a song that I *loved* like In Your Eyes, SYT and Blinding Lights on After Hours. My favourites are Less Than Zero, Gasoline, Sacrifice and I Heard You're Married (although could do without the feature on that one, it doesn't even fit well imo?) 100% this!! It would've definitely been one of my favourites had it been a fully fledged song
  2. Happier Than Ever  Billie's best track by a mile for me!
  3. Glad you liked Ashlyn! I haven't heard of that snippet, i'll have to check it out. Thanks Lewis!
  4. She's said on instagram that she's shooting the video for the next single, coming in February :cheer: Really hope it's through the night!

So glad to see some Ashe here! Her recent stuff has been so underrated  Psycho still smashing too :cheeseblock:
  6. 5. Ashe - Ashlyn Favourites: Til Forever Falls Apart, Taylor, Ryne's Song, Save Myself 4. Halsey - If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power Favourites: The Tradition, You asked for this, The Lighthouse 3. Maisie Peters - You Signed Up For This Favourites: I'm Trying (Not Friends), Love Him I Don't, Tough Act 2. Anne-Marie - Therapy Favourites: Kiss My (Uh Oh), Better Not Together, Therapy 1. Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR Favourites: brutal, traitor, drivers license, good 4 u At #5 is singer-songwriter Ashe's debut album. She's mainly known for Top 40 hit 'Moral of The Story' but all of her work since has been extremely underappreciated imo, and this album is stunning! Number 4, "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power" is heavy and haunting at times, but overall such a strong album with great and varied production and impressive lyrics. Maisie Peters' debut was a massive surprise for me in 2021, had never heard any of her music before but pressed play on this and instantly loved it, she's such a talented songwriter! Anne-Marie's second album 'Therapy' is my second favourite project of the year, with consistently great pop songs but great variety too. And Number 1 is Olivia Rodrigo with her debut album SOUR, which took a while to grow but is now honestly one of my favourite projects of recent times, all of the favourites i've listed above are absolute masterpieces in my eyes!
  7. Yeah I listened to a LOT of Taylor this year  Glad to hear you also loved 'One Foot In Front Of The Other', and completely agreed about Life After Salem - one of his best for sure!
  8. Glad to hear you enjoy 30 and parts of Bebe's album too, thanks for commenting!
  9. Albums: Top 10 10: Justin Bieber - Justice Favourites: Ghost, As I Am, Die For You 9: Becky Hill - Only Honest on the Weekend Favourites: Through The Night, Distance, Remember, Lessons 8: Lil Nas X - MONTERO Favourites: AM I DREAMING, THAT'S WHAT I WANT, LIFE AFTER SALEM 7: Demi Lovato - Dancing With The Devil...The Art Of Starting Over Favourites: Easy, The Way You Don't Look At Me, Dancing with the Devil, What Other People Say 6: Zara Larsson - Poster Girl Favourites: Look What You've Done, Last Summer, Poster Girl Justin Bieber makes an unexpected appearance at #10 with Justice. Although the singles for this era were much better than the last (anything is better than ‘Yummy tbf), I didn’t expect to like this album as much as I do, especially considering ‘Changes’ is up there with one of my least favourite albums I’ve ever listened to. Overall though, Justice is a really strong album and there's plenty of songs here here I still listen to outside of the album as well. Becky Hill and Lil Nas X' solid debuts 'Only Honest on the Weekend' and MONTERO are at #9 and #8 respectively. Demi Lovato's 'Dancing With The Devil...The Art Of Starting Over' is another album that surprised me last year, especially after their 2020 releases being underwhelming imo. And Zara Larsson delivers another great pop album with 'Poster Girl' just missing out on the Top 5 :cheer:

i- at least there's an alternate cover for the physicals
  11. Glad to see a fair few Anne-Marie, Becky Hill & LM tracks in your Top 100 so far! Also love that you have ‘right where you left me’ just outside your Top 50, that song is so underrated
  12. MONTERO is probably my favourite from your albums so far  but there’s plenty there I haven’t got round to listening to yet!
  13. Yeah I think Olivia's got it in the bag this year
  14. Albums Quick note, I didn't actually listen to that many albums in 2021 and have missed out quite a few popular releases. I'm definitely going to aim to listen to new albums from different artists this year, but this countdown is just my favourites from the ones I did listen to, starting off with some honourable mentions. :cheer: Honourable Mentions Firstly here we have two underrated albums from underrated artists; Not In Chronological Order by Julia Michaels and Better Mistakes by Bebe Rexha! Both of these albums have definitely suffered a bit from lack of plays. I was really anticipating Bebe's album, as I loved both Sabotage and Sacrifice but was originally disappointed when the album came out. If I didn't revisit this one later in the year, it probably wouldn't have been here at all. I've grown to like a fair few songs on the album, especially the first half, but as an overall project it fell short of this Top 10 (mainly thanks to the DREADFUL 'Amore'). 'Not In Chronological Order' has some great songs on it, namely 'All Your Exes', 'Little Did I Know' and 2020 single 'Lie Like This', but didn't grab my attention enough from lower amount of plays to be in the Top 10. Finally, we have Adele's long-awaited 4th album '30'. I would NEVER have guessed when this album was announced that it wouldn't in my Top 3, let alone top 10 albums of the year, but unfortunately for me it was underwhelming as an entire project. It has grown on me and I think had it come out earlier in the year, it probably would've snuck into the top 10. 'Easy On Me' remains a career highlight and I also love 'Strangers By Nature', 'Can I Get It' and 'To Be Loved', but those are probably the only 4 I'd listen to outside of the album to be honest. I really wish the two Target Bonus Tracks were included on this album, and I do wish either the track-listing was altered or some tracks were shortened, the last 3 songs of the album all being over 6 minutes long is a choice! Will start the Top 10 albums tomorrow and then hopefully the songs either Wednesday or Thursday
  15. I've never actually heard 'Before I Go' :o but agree with, 'I'll Break My Heart Again' being one of her best thanks for commenting!
  16. yeah there's a buying/trending party on twitter, a lot of fans are pushing it this week! Now #5, #38, #73 on iTunes and #17 on Amazon :cheer:

I actually think Panda is Alesha!
  18. Yeah i've seen a lot of people saying that, but I thought there's no update today as it's a bank holiday?
  19. Some great songs there! 'Let Them Know' and 'Heartbreak Anthem' in particular, both bops!
  20. Top 3 EPs 3. Rita Ora & Imanbek - Bang Favourite: Big 2. Mimi Webb - Seven Shades of Heartbreak Favourites: Lonely In Love, 24/5 1. Griff - One Foot In Front Of The Other Favourites: Black Hole, Earl Gray Tea Kicking of the Top 3 is Rita Ora & Imanbek's collaborative EP, Bang. I feel like this sound suits Rita so much, the production is stellar and it's almost unfaltering. I do skip 'Mood' though, that chorus is a nope. Mimi Webb's Seven Shades of Heartbreaks is another great project I enjoyed in 2021, it's pretty consistent throughout but 'Lonely In Love' is my absolute highlight. Finally we have Griff who released SUCH an amazing EP, it would be #3 in my overall album ranking for the year. From bops to Black Hole to the more laid back 'Earl Gray Tea', her talent in songwriting and amazing vocals shine throughout

apparently Gary Barlow did a walk up Kilimanjaro for charity so that could explain the 'long walkies' clue. It definitely sounded like him! Also agree I think Gloria is Snow Leopard.
  22. Lunar's Top 10 Artists of 2021 5. Griff Number 5 is another new artist for me, Griff. I listened to ‘Black Hole’ back in February, loved it, and have followed her music ever since. I love the mixtape she released this year and I’m very excited to see what a full album from Griff will bring! Listening stats: Most scrobbled song: Black Hole 2021 scrobbles: 287 4. Olivia Rodrigo The amount of times I’ve swapped around the artists between 2 and 4 :drama: the next 3 honestly could’ve been in any order but I settled on Olivia as 4 because she was mainly active for the first half of 2021 and we didn’t get too much after May/June time - if this was just was on quality of music she’d be higher though. Although I had never heard of Olivia at the beginning of this year, over 2021 she has cemented herself as one of my favourite artists. It took a little while for me to get on board with ‘drivers license’ and even longer with ‘deja vu’ but I was OBSESSED with good 4 u as soon as it came out and fully on board with her music from that point on. Listening stats: Most scrobbled song: good 4 u 2021 scrobbles: 806 3. Little Mix The girls were TRULY at the top of their games in 2021. We had the Confetti Remix, Heartbreak Anthem, Kiss My and the whole of the Between Us campaign - and nearly all of this happened while two members were pregnant or new mothers! There wasn't a dull moment for LM last year and I enjoyed every single song they put out. They would’ve probably been even a little higher here if it wasn’t for the kinda messy singles rollout towards the end of the year (and picking LSL as the lead) but that’s honestly the only thing I can fault them on! Listening stats: Most scrobbled song: Between Us 2021 scrobbles: 1,040 2. Anne-Marie Number 2 is Buzzjack’s favourite artist, Anne-Marie! :kink: (though I was glad to see most her releases were received a little more positively on here this year). After 3 singles, she released her second album Therapy in July, and I was lucky enough to meet her on its release day. She’s done loads in 2021 to promote 'Therapy' so it’s been a great year to be a fan of hers. Listening stats: Most scrobbled song: Kiss My (Uh Oh) 2021 scrobbles: 1,621 1. Taylor Swift In 2021, we got as Fearless (Taylor’s Version) which was a huge improvement on the original for me, especially as it included vault track ‘Mr Perfectly Fine’, one of my favourite songs of the year. After a fairly long break and a lot of false rumours about what would happen next, in November we got an even better era in Red (Taylor’s Version), which started a week earlier than planned thanks to Adele. The main song that was pushed, being a ten minute version of one of my favourite songs of hers, was released alongside a whole short film and performed in its entirety on SNL. Both of these things made me all in love with All Too Well (10 Minute Version) even more. Red TV also gave us bops like ‘Message In A Bottle’ and the iconic ‘I Bet You Think About Me’ music video. What a year to be a Taylor fan, she just had to be #1! Also just to clarify, I'm not including the re-recordings in the album chart as they're not technically completely new albums <3 Listening stats: Most scrobbled song: Mr Perfectly Fine 2021 scrobbles: 2,306
  23. thank you!
  24. Great to see Olivia in your top artists and some great album choices there too. My favourites so far from your songs are brutal, Leave the Door Open, INDUSTRY BABY and the 911 remix  Looking forward to seeing the rest ^_^
  25. Trash and Cut You Off  test drive is great too, and whilst I didn't love Just Look Up on first listen it's growing on me now for sure!
