"Tides" is SO good :cheeseblock: that along with "First Times" and "Be Right Now" were my clear highlights on first listen. Definitely a solid album, might need a few more listens for some of the tracks though. The singles remain 2 of the weakest on the album for me, Overpass Graffiti is easily better than both of them and I don't even like it that much :kink:

Gonna say #5 with 30-35k, I think Taylor should be able to beat Kylie. There also wasn't a vinyl for Fearless when that came out but there is for this so that will help slightly too.

a reminder that we still don't even know the messages are 100% real, and why isn't leigh-anne well within her rights, as a black woman, to be disappointed by jesy blackfishing? also i 100% agree that some comments about jesy have been vile, and that's in no way acceptable, but neither is sitting on a live while Nicki was literally verbally attacking Leigh for minutes. for me and many others, it's not about jesy it's about her behaviour. i'm just really, really disappointed.

Obviously I can't speak for everyone, but I think most of us are just really disappointed in Jesy's behaviour - it's not about "hating Jesy". I can 100% say that I was really sad when she left and only wanted the absolute best for her, but what she's doing is just really hurtful to many people. Also, Leigh-Anne is totally within her rights to be disappointed in Jesy for the blackfishing, ESPECIALLY if she brought it up after the SM video. We still don't have any hard proof that the DMs are real anyway? Whatever happened, there's no need to drag Leigh for it on a live with 100k viewers.

yeah I feel the exact same, between Nicki and the whole blackfishing/cultural appropriation i'm finding it hard to support this :/ in terms of the song, it's fine. it's catchy and I can definitely see it growing on me but some of the lyrics are a choice
