Ooh... any chance of having a Cornish flag? http://www.fotw.net/images/g/gb-corn.gif :arrr:

Not really, I'd accept that my five minutes was up and stop annoying the hell out of everyone.

    ...or The Mavericks.
  6. Someone's going to Give It A Name. ;) LUCKY.
  7. Jono posted a post in a topic in Rihanna's Rihanna
Rihanna is, officially, the skinniest woman in the world. This is not a bad thing.
  8. Heh, I don't actually go to many gigs, it's just that I've been to two festivals and seen about 25 bands at each. I suppose I should add: The Killers Longview (who have since renamed themselves Long-View) The Infadels I haven't bothered to include little-known bands from random local gigs that I've been to, otherwise we'd be here all day.

Everyone likes Placebo... don't they? Well, I do. Can't say I'm hugely into them, but they've done some quality over the years.

They're signed to Charlie's own Sandwich Leg Records, which is part of Island/Universal.
  11. I've seen... The Pixies (twice) The Strokes Muse Silver Sun Incubus Fightstar My Chemical Romance The Futureheads Maximo Park Cradle Of Filth Badly Drawn Boy Snow Patrol Wheatus Easyworld Toploader Halo Keane Elbow Dashboard Confessional Hell Is For Heroes InMe Magnet The Zutons The All-American Rejects Graham Coxon Charlotte Hatherley Bloc Party Dropkick Murphys Dinosaur Jr Foo Fighters Queens Of The Stone Age ...and a bunch more at V and Reading that don't spring to mind so easily.

Aye, I saw them at Reading and some **** was firing water bombs from a huge catapult... tosser. They don't deserve it. I hated Busted as much as (if not more than) most people, but Fightstar are so different. I dunno, maybe they've just caught me at the right time by doing the sort stuff I'm really into right now, but I hope they go far.
  13. The debut album from the best band to come out of Essex since InMe... is out next week and is probably the only thing that's gonna rival Fightstar for the title of Album Of 2006 in my head. Please don't let me be the only one that's heard of them...
  14. Reckon we'll work on keeping it that way... I've got a load of stuff to ramble about. ;)
  15. I generally like The Streets... not heard this one yet though.

I don't get it, sorry. 'Living For The Weekend' is alright but I can't be doing with the rest of it.

Hah, yes! I was always a bit concerned about what he was feeding THE CROW THAT'S STUCK TO HIS HEAD. 'First Day Of My Life' was awesome, got the album with that on... haven't bothered with the newer one though.

Aww, I quite like The Rasmus... in a "aww, bless 'em" kinda way.

And you can just tell that the git's gonna milk it for everything he can. :puke2:

Hah, it was kinda suicide when Reading put Daphne & Celeste on the same bill as Slipknot... much like when they put 50 C*nt on the bill before Green Day the year before last.
  21. Heh, cheers... I dunno, I just have this habit of not wanting to see rock-based forums go unused. Spent too long doing that on my 'home' forum until I dragged it up by its neck, so I figured I might as well start here as I mean to go on.
  22. Now all we've gotta do is persuade them to let me moderate something and we're SORTED. How 'bout rock/indie... or my new emo/punk/metal thing if they give it to us? (I may not be entirely serious but, well, you could pick worse/less experienced people for the job. :P)

...and written by the woman from the ever-marvellous Alisha's Attic, I believe. B)
  24. Off topic, but considering they were like the biggest group in the world for a few weeks (and 'Juicebox' being an absolute BLINDER), The Strokes' new album hasn't done all that well.
  25. Aye, the demo of 'Riot Van' was better... BOO THEM. I likes Vampires though.
