I was going to ramble about Sleeper and Echobelly, but people have saved me the effort! :lol: But yeah, I absolutely adore Sleeper... I can't really let the whole Britpop thing go, to be honest. Republica, anyone? ;)

Let's not forget the Housemartins bassist leaving to become, erm, Fatboy Slim. :lol: Joe Perry and Brad Whitford left Aerosmith to form The Joe Perry Project and (whatever Brad's pointless band was called, can't remember), only to go back a few years later.

I wasn't around at the time, but I certainly wouldn't have any problem admitting to liking them - my parents were fans back in the day, so I've kinda grown up with it.

Heh, true, to be fair they have done some pretty dire ballads. When they stick to the rock they're worth it I reckon.
