    God help us.
  2. I wouldn't mind seeing The Strokes again, but other than that I'm not overly fussed. Arctic Monkeys would be alright but you wouldn't be able to get within a mile of the stage.
  3. Well, if it's anything like the rest of their recent output, we'll win the World Cup by boring the opposition to sleep.
  4. Ugh, why do I always find myself on forums where nobody's allowed to say anything against Princess Delta The Perfect?
  5. There's more on the second page of that eFestivals page. ;)

  7. Yeah, but it reaches a point where people just get sick of seeing/hearing them talked about and will just ignore every future mention of them.
  8. I can't be bothered with this, but I did get their greatest hits 1997-2002 today, i.e. the era when they didn't bore me to sleep.
  9. Dude, do you really need to keep spamming this band? It's almost like you've got nothing else to talk about.
  10. Good for them. <_<
  11. I'll have you know that, according to my custom title thing, I'm "loser-in-chief of the emo brigade" actually mate. Except, oh, I'm not really. Let's just ignore the fact that I was going to buy hair straighteners and black dye today. ;) (I didn't buy them, incidentally, spent my hard-earned on a new bass guitar instead. Lovely.)
  12. Add me to the list of emo rockers.
  13. I'd love for Be Your Own Pet to be massive. Their album is gonna be awesome, I'm thinking.

In brief: Lagwagon Silver Sun Aerosmith There's a list that extends to several hundred entries, but I shan't bore you with that. ;)
  15. ...that is all.
  16. Yes, I like. EDIT: I'm liking more and more as I'm listening. :cheer:
  17. Ross from Symposium is now in a band called Paper Cuts, but I don't think that's exactly retro, unless mid-late 90s counts as retro these days. ;)

I was going to ramble about Sleeper and Echobelly, but people have saved me the effort! But yeah, I absolutely adore Sleeper... I can't really let the whole Britpop thing go, to be honest. Republica, anyone? ;)
  19. Can't argue with Diana Ross and co.
  20. Let's not forget the Housemartins bassist leaving to become, erm, Fatboy Slim. Joe Perry and Brad Whitford left Aerosmith to form The Joe Perry Project and (whatever Brad's pointless band was called, can't remember), only to go back a few years later.

I wasn't around at the time, but I certainly wouldn't have any problem admitting to liking them - my parents were fans back in the day, so I've kinda grown up with it.
  22. Heh, true, to be fair they have done some pretty dire ballads. When they stick to the rock they're worth it I reckon.
  23. Heh, well, fair 'nuff I reckon mate.

Interesting. I'll have to listen out for them.
  25. Damn right, a music industry without Moz doesn't bear thinking about. I think the world's always gonna need Aerosmith.
