  1. Mmm, true. I was a bit unsure whether I wanted to lump them into that category to be honest, but yeah, you're quite right. I probably should've replaced one of them with Mayhem.

Doesn't surprise me, heh... bless their mad little socks! But yeah, I was supposed to go and see Queen Adreena a little while back but I ended up not going because my brother was being stupid about it... should've just gone without him.

    I'll take Greece.
  4. Um, yep, I'm with you on that. Again, sorry Mark...

Hell yeah, everybody needs Daisy Chainsaw. I like the way of describing 'Love Your Money' as a tantrum, heh, so descriptive.

Yep, IMO the best pop song ever recorded. Naturally I went for that.
  7. I'll actually be seeing them twice this year... once supporting Take That, and again at the V Festival.

Yeahhhh, I'll go for a bit of that. Wonder if there's any chance of them recording a new album any time soon? 'Splinter' sucked so it doesn't count.

Cheese windows? Linda Barker would have something to say about that...
  10. Hah, I got it today and it's bloody brilliant. My only gripe is the re-recording of 'Trick Or Treat?'... doesn't sound as chunky as the original version. But I'm sure that's just because I'm more used to the original.

Heh, nope, I'm a bassist. And a struggling guitarist. (Typical innit, I go away for one weekend and I miss so much!)

You're referring to 'Walking Barefoot'? If so... do we actually completely share the same tastes in everything?! I don't know why some people don't like that album, it's their best by miles if you ask me. Yar, Ash were the band that finally made me pick up an instrument, so credit to 'em for that.

    Oh yes.
  14. Jono posted a post in a topic in Indie, Rock and Alternative
I'm gonna see them at V... yay.
  15. I was just... confused. Oh, and as for Noodle... they referred to her as "the Japanese guitar princess" in an early interview, so I'm thinking I'll go with that. ;)
  16. I guess it would depend on your definition of "extreme". I like a bunch of death metal and black metal stuff... Dimmu Borgir, Cradle Of Filth, Nasum, etc... and some quite 'out-there' stuff like The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Beecher, etc.

Were you aware that the indie/rock forum is not visible when you're not logged in? Or does this just happen to me?
  18. Jono posted a post in a topic in Television
I was a bit surprised, it was kinda like "who the hell is that?!"

I'm just talking to someone about how Channel 4 used to have a load of great shows that you could relate to, and now they have precisely nowt... Anyone else obsessed with Teachers back in the day?

There's a really cheap flick that got banned... Zombie Nosh. It was great. Not sure whether it was supposed to be a horror or a comedy, but it was funny as hell. Cradle Of Fear is a bit gory too, heh.
  21. OMG LETZ START A ANTI EWAN MGMGMRGGOGROG BANDWAGON LOLZ!!!!!!!!!1111111111 Ahem, each to their own, like.
  22. Given that I've already said it's my favourite track on the album, I ought to go with the latter. ;)
  23. Jono posted a post in a topic in Indie, Rock and Alternative
    Yes. That.
  24. True, I saw pictures of that!
  25. Sounds alright. Though if I was in Metallica I'd be $h!tting myself at the idea of playing Black Sabbath songs to Black Sabbath themselves.
