Queen Adreena
One mad screaming mare dressed as a fairy, her mad sister on bass, some mad skinny bloke on guitar and some mad starey bloke on drums. Everyone needs at least one nutjob band in their life, I reckon these should be it... agreed? Ya. They're awesome. :arrr:

Test Icicles
Yeah, I'd love to see an ATDI return... don't see it though. :(

Ben Folds
I've got two albums... one solo (Rockin' The Suburbs) and one with the band (Whatever And Ever Amen)... can't argue with quality like that. My favourite song is 'Gone'... just because I don't know anyone who can write such bitterness and sound so damn pleased about it!

The Scary Movies
Yeah, they were quality... my favourite would probably be the second.

Ben Folds
I was introduced to Ben Folds quite recently but already he's one of my favourites... anyone else? Oh, and... 200th post. :cheer:

Fatboy Slim - Greatest Hits
Sounds good to me. Wonder what version of '... In Heaven' it'll be though...

Scummy Man dvd
Sounds a bit good to me.

My Chemical Romance
They have this sort of bizarre sound about them that I can only honestly describe as "heroic". Listen to 'Headfirst For Halos' and you'll (possibly) understand what I'm rambling about.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Golden Lion
WOO top lad. :D I shall be online later (sneakyness at work right now, heh).

Hoobastank
Yep, what he said.

Test Icicles
They always sound like At The Drive-In to me... this is a good thing, obviously.

Buzzjack Audioscrobbler/Last.FM Group
That reminds me, I really do need to reinstall that plugin.

Silver Sun
Let me tell you a little story. It was some time around the summer of 2000. A young man about the age of 17 was at the CD stall on his local undercover market, when he chanced upon a couple of CDs. They were by a band that he'd heard the briefest mention of whilst on the phone to his friend. This band was called Silver Sun. He stood there motionless for a few seconds wondering what magic could be contained within these two little CD cases... even the name has a magical ring to it. One of the albums in particular had an aura about it, though our intrepid traveller wasn't sure whether this was an omen or just that it's got a garish cover. This spiritual moment of wonderment ended with our hero wandering to the counter and handing over what could've turned out to be the worst £15 he ever spent, but happily turned out to be among the best. This band has the power to change lives. This band could've had the power to change the course of history, and they could do once again. So let me hear you. STAND UP AND SHOUT. Make your voice heard. Make your opinion count in the battle to give this most important of bands the godly status that they so richly deserve. [/pretentious tosser mode] ...but seriously, they're a bit good. Maybe I just can't let go of the first wave of Britpop.

Sorry, I thought that read "he is a cock". :P

A View From The Afternoon - Good Choice?
I reckon it was a pretty decent choice, though I'd much prefer 'Fake Tales Of San Francisco'. Just because the way he sings "you're not from New York City, you're from Rotherham" always makes me

Sugababes - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor
I thought it was great. Must admit I haven't got around to buying the single yet... or their new album. Or the last one, for that matter. Which is a bit stupid when you consider how 'Push The Button' is quite far and away the best 'pure pop' song ever recorded.

The Kooks
I think I like them. I'm not sure because I can't really tell a lot of these bands apart... but my girlfriend says she's played them to me and assures me that I liked them, so that'll do for me.

Favourite old school track
Genius.

Nicky/Grandwicky Chart #74
That might be the best chart EVAR.

Lagwagon
My favourite band. Ever. Don't let me be the only one who loves 'em...
-
Test Icicles
BOO they split. But while they were around... they were bloody good, no? I think they were.
-
Favourite old school track
Ah yeahhhhh... not heard that for YEARS.

darren tate
Dunno, but I've liked loads of the stuff he's done under various aliases... probably Jurgen Vries being my favourite.

What Good Indie/ Rock Bands Have You Seen?
I wanted to go... bah. I'm off to V this year, it's kind of a present to myself 'cos it's my birthday that weekend. Might get dragged to Reading too... *death by festival bogs*
