  1. 095 Feeder 'Just A Day' - Amazing, reminds me of Gran Turismo. 094 Yeah Yeah Yeahs 'Zero' - Brilliant, my favourite off of the album.
  2. 099 Snow Patrol ft Martha Wainwright 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar' - They do have a couple of good songs and this is one of them. 098 Gnarls Barkley 'Crazy' - Good song, maybe didn't deserve to be quite AS BIG as it got, but it is better than the normal chart fodder. 097 Goldfrapp 'A&E' - Beautiful song, the best from that era which was disappointing overall. 096 Death Cab For Cutie 'I Will Possess Your Heart' - I only have 'Plans' by them but I do remember listenign to this and it was good, not my favourite by them though.
  3. Good to here that was a successful ten. It is nice and short but it is a bit samey, I got hooked on it for a short spell  Yeh I think the others are a bit out of your taste zone, Metric are great though.
  4. Thanks, they hold good memories for me, it could have been higher aswell maybe should have been but oh well. I thought that was pretty obvious anyway but thanks for finally saying it

Yeah Yeah Yeahs really stepped up their game in my eyes with this album and also impressed me when I saw them at Leeds Fest this year. Now a bit of a controversial choice they are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, Paramore with their latest album, I ahd all of their albums in my long list but I couldn't deny that even though it is so new it is definitely their best work to date. Aaaaah memories, Hundred Reasons were one of if not the first band I saw live and this is my favourite album of theirs, this is just simple stuff done well. Another album from this year Kong with 'Snake Magnet', I saw them live earlier this year and they truly melted my brain, it was awesome, I'd heard that they weren't as good on record but I gave it a shot and although there isn't the same intensity it is still brilliant stuff. The Libertines now with the second best of their two albums IMO, really is good though. Next a band few will have heard of which is made up from members of Circa Survive, Rx Bandits and Finch notably but also many others, it's The Sound Of Animals Fighting and this is by far their best record I've heard. The much acclaimed Sufjan Stevens then now with his masterpiece, it really is a solid project and would be higher if it wasn't so long as I liek to listen to albums in one sitting where possible. Metric, one of the 3 bands with 4 albums in the list, make their debut with old work that was newly packaged and released for 2007, quality stuff! Now it gets a bit "emo" or whathaveyou with these next two bands, Dashboard are very good and this album proves it, but more notably Brand New (another artist with 4 albums in the countdown) make their debut with...their debut, it isn't as good as their later work, ebing more generic sounding but it still ahs some quality moments. gfsZJ33fK4A jFtSqsEhsIw = BADASS!!!
  6. Just want to say I have been reading this, a few good ones so far. Look forward to the real top 100!
  7. Thanks for the comment :) Surprised you haven't heard The Resistance!
  8. Thank for the comment, a top 200 of the decade for me would have been of such terrible quality.
  9. Hope it's not $h!t.
  10. I shall look forward to your list, I expect it to be much more diverse and better than mine in general :(
  11. Gypsy I think this list will be a bit hit and miss for you. I've never really been into Interpol either, that is the only album I own by the. Forward Russias 1st album is better :) I don't listen to 65days enough, they really can be badass at times. Agree about Kasabian.
  12. Aye it is. Shame they're rubbish now. :(

Interpol scrape in at #100 with an album that, although I think is very good, I haven't listened to all that much and it may have been higher if I had. Next one of the only rappers I like to any degree Jay-Z makes an entrance with his much lauded Blueprint. Elsewhere Forward Russia and Los Campesinos! make their first appearances with their weakest albums having both only released two. 65daysofstatic are 1 of only 2 instrumental bands on the list, then they use sampled voices it is awesome and one says "Taking advantage just makes me stronger, we will not retreat, this band is unstoppable!" - you have to hear it to know how amazing it is ("Retreat! Retreat!" is the song, see below). The Killers with an album I listened to alot and possibly overkilled, although they generally ARE a band I listen to alot but don't normally do well in these type of lists. 'Elephant Shell' is a good album and I again listened to it alot when it was released, this however was a definite case of overkill, deserves it's spot though. Muse scrape in with their newie and it may grow on me more over time but it is currently looking liek their weakest to date. The final two of this list then are M.I.A., with one of the best albums from 2007, and Kasabian with the only album of theirs I have liked but blimey it is good! FAnGnevKxJE WneDU-K3Sww
  14. Yes I do know it and yes it IS amazing. Best from that little project YCIS:M did. My mom and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad = awesome.
  15. I didn't pay attention to that really. 17 acts have 2 albums in, 4 have 3 albums and 3 have 4 albums. So it just happens to be the artists I like most, have the best albums. Strange innit? :P
  16. So I'm going to countdown my top 100 albums of the decade. I'll do it tens up to #50, then in fives until #20, then in twos until the number one is revealed! That's the plan anyway. It is hard to create a definitive list but I've given it my best shot, the list is a mix of things alot of people will know to those that few if any will know, I didn't take note of how many times a single artist appears but from looking at it, it looks like a decent mix. I hope you enjoy it anyhow.
  17. You are bad! Should have been a good chart follower and commented on each update! B)
  18. 119 The Futureheads 'The Beginning of the Twist' - Fantastic, from an unappreciated album. 117 Van She 'Cat and the Eye' - Fabuloso, not their best single from the album but still marvellous. 115 White Lies 'Death' - Great song, was 3rd in my best songs of 2008! 114 Red Hot Chili Peppers 'By The Way' - Probably my favourite from this album as a whole, Zephyr Song would be second, great. 113 Queens of the Stone Age 'No One Knows' - Quality track, my 3rd favourite by them, not really enjoyed their last two albums. 111 Eminem 'Stan' - I don't like much Eminem but this is definitely one I do. 107 MGMT 'Kids' - Overplayed but still undeniably a good song. 106 The Bravery 'An Honest Mistake' - Decent song, that's all. 105 The Pipettes 'Dirty Mind' - The lovely Pipettes, can't get much more fun. 103 Doves 'Black and White Town' - Good. 101 Gorillaz 'Feel Good Inc.' - Starting to appreciate this more than I did at the time, very enjoyable.
  19. BMTH are awful to the extreme. I like I think 1, maybe 2 Gallows songs.
  20. I got Bad Kidz a while ago, is it going to be on the album?
  21. MMM HMM - Agreement.
  22. Ha funny trailer. Love this guy, hope the album is gooood.
  23. Add this to the ones I like: 136 Wolfman ft Pete Doherty 'For Lovers' 127 The Futureheads 'Area' - Brilliant, they really are great band, shame it went a bit wrong for them. 126 Oasis 'Songbird' - Alright, I went through a spell of liking Oasis but tbh they just pissed me off for several years before their split. 124 Arctic Monkeys 'Fluorescent Adolescent' - Fantastic, I do LIKE the new album but I get why people don't they need to go back to writing about Sheffield and everyday things. 123 Late of the Pier 'Space and The Woods' - By far their best I think, never really GOT the album. 122 Coldplay 'The Scientist' - Definitely in my top 3 Coldplay songs, maybe even numero uno! 121 Muse 'Bliss' - Marvellous
  24. 140 Maximo Park 'The Coast Is Always Changing' - Not my favourite of theirs but good nonetheless 139 Feist '1234' - Really good, I think most people on ChC knew it before the iPod thing, still my favourite of hers. 137 Guillemots 'Made Up Love Song #43 - Don't like their newest album, this is good even if I do rarely listen to them. 135 White Stripes 'Seven Nation Army - Scrapes into being liked, don't really liek the band and they only have 2 or 3 singles that I really like. 134 Ash 'Burn Baby Burn' - Pretty good 133 TV On The Radio 'Dancing Choose' - Amazing, they were my first and most successful Unknown Pleasure with 'Wolf Like Me' coming 2nd in 2006, this new album is better overall though and this is my fave from it. 132 Stereophonics 'Dakota' - Their best. 131 Digitalism 'Pogo' [shinici Osawa Remix] - Not heard the remix but the original is grand, will check out.
  25. 149 Kings of Leon 'Use Somebody' - Only song of theirs I really like. Really good saying that. 148 Glasvegas 'Daddy's Gone' - Their best song also 147 LCD Soundsystem 'Someone Great' - Really good but it hasn't got as much attention from me as your other entry from them (which is amazing) 146 Pendulum 'Slam' - Tired of Pendulum but this is still their best in my eyes. 142 Blink-182 'I Miss You' - Different from their other songs, they have never been a band I've fully got into I just like their singles alot.
