RabbitFurCoat's Top 100 ALBUMS OF THE DECADE
You going to do this here? Suppose there wouldn't be any auto-qualifiers though.

REUBEN
Excellent, I like this forum beacue I can talk about this stuff. Shame it isn't more active as the site is more pop orientated. Back to Reuben, I never got to see them before they split up. I was going to but decided not to because I had been to 2 gigs on the 2 previous nights (Rx Bandits and The Fall of Troy), which wouldn't be a problem now but when I was in Year 11/12 or something it was a bit much because it was during exams. I so wish I had gone though now.

REUBEN
How f***ing awesome ar Reuben seriously? Been one of my favourite bands for a fairly long time now, shame they split up all the best bands do :( They have two amazing albums in 'Racecar Is Racecar Backwards' and 'In Nothing We Trust' and one album that isn't as good ('Very Fast Very Dangerous'). http://theonlythingiknowforsure.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/reuben-1.jpg They are basically the brainchild of Jamie Lenman (far right) who writes all of the songs. He has also directed some music videos, notably for Frank Turner. The other two members are Jon Pearce (bass, far left) and Guy Davis (Drums, centre). They have a hilarious youtube documentary type thing about the making of their third album, here is day one: . My favourite tracks what they did make like: Stuck In My Throat YE8a1C6Oyss Good Luck 2NOINteLCG4 Anyone else like? Thoughts?

The Automatic - 'Tear the Signs Down' | Feb 2010
I heard that Paul had joined which sparked some interest from me but I still pretty much ignored their last album and singles. This is sounding great, hearing Paul's voice just makes me wish for more Yourcodenameis:milo though.

RabbitFurCoat's Top 100 ALBUMS OF THE DECADE
As soon as it turns 2010 (12am on Jan 1st) then 2010 years AD have passed. We are IN the 2010th year. 0 to 1 AD was the first year not the zero-th year.

RabbitFurCoat's Top 100 ALBUMS OF THE DECADE
170 Kasabian 'Club Foot' - I have really gone off them recently for some reason, Fire is pretty good but the rest of that album I don't like and I came to realise Empire only has about 2 good tracks. 169 MGMT 'Time to Pretend' - Mixed feelings about this, I liked it at the start but then it got overplayed ridiculously so am not sure now. 168 The Pains of Being Pure at Heart 'Higher Than The Stars' 167 The Raconteurs 'Steady, As She Goes' 165 Editors 'Munich' 163 Puddle of Mudd 'Blurry' 162 Biffy Clyro 'Just Boy' - When they were good. 161 Razorlight 'Golden Touch' - Read above. 160 Imogen Heap 'Hide and Seek' - Amazing song, agree about the DeRulo thing, WHY would she do it? 159 Little Boots 'Remedy' - Her best. 158 Rihanna 'Don't Stop The Music' 157 Bloc Party 'I Still Remember' - Not one of my favourites of theirs but still good, disappointed none of the Silent Alarm singles are going to get in. 156 Late of the Pier 'Heartbeat' 154 Antony & The Johnsons 'Hope There's Someone' - Beautiful 152 Los Campesinos! 'The International Tweexcore Underground' Good 20 there, a couple just scraped into being included in the ones I like though.

Meh it's ok nothing special. Won't listen to it much.
-
Girls 'Album'
Got 7 tracks into it earlier this week but it didn't really grab me. I'll give it another go at some point but at the moment I don't get it. Prefer Pains.. if we're doing that comparison.
-
Drowning Pool - Bodies
Yeh I know, but it's old skool for me, note the mispelling of the word 'school'. Gives it a WHOLE new meaning :P

DEFTONES
Can't decide what my favourite album of theirs is. It is between 'White Pony' and 'Around the Fur' but both are amazing, 'Saturday Night Wrist' is a close third and 'Deftones' last. I haven't heard 'Adrenaline'.

Music Review Sites
I look at a few. Drowned In Sound, This Is Fake DIY and Pitchfork mainly.

Looked pretty normal at Leeds, more muscle than fat nowadays.

_bqhY31PBug Two guys from Oceansize and another from Capulet or something, released debut album 'Snake Magnet' a few months ago. Saw them live at the Off The Cuff Festival in Birmingham, set up by Sam from Blakfish and they were crazy and amazing in equal measure. I am interested in people's reactions :D Also check out: 'Blood of a Dove' and 'A Hint of Rennit Innit'

DEFTONES
