RabbitFurCoat's Top 100 ALBUMS OF THE DECADE
05 Interpol 'Turn on the Bright Lights' - Really good album. 04 The Postal Service 'Give Up' - Amazing. 03 Elbow 'The Seldom Seen Kid' - Didn't really strike me when I listened through the whole album. 02 Animal Collective 'Merriweather Post Pavillion' - Amazing. 01 Arcade Fire 'Funeral' - Started listening to these more again recently, truly amazing. Very good list. I've enjoyed all of your lists you are very good at them. I disagree with my own list now  , I forgot some things and others should be higher, oh well it is still a basic guideline.

BAND OF THE WEEK: Thrice
Ah yes, Image of the Invisible is good. The Artist In The Ambulance is my least favourite of the three I posted, but my favourite off of that album.

BAND OF THE WEEK: Thrice
http://kingstarbrothers.com/images/thrice.jpg Genres: Post-Hardcore, Alternative Rock, Rock, Emo For fans of: Brand New, Glassjaw, Thursday, The Recieving End Of Sirens Info: Thrice is an American post-hardcore/experimental rock band that formed in Irvine, California in 1998. The lineup consists of Dustin Kensrue (vocals and guitar), Teppei Teranishi (guitar), Eddie Breckenridge (bass), and Riley Breckenridge (drums). My thoughts: I really like Thrice and have heard all but their first two albums, however if I'm honest I don't really want to hear their first but I will get around to listening to their second. The first three albums are less experimental and interesting than the next four and I don't like the one I've heard (The Artist In The Ambulance) nearly as much as the later ones. 'Vheissu' is remarkable, as is the 'Fire & Water' side of their Alchemy Index project, it hasn't been perfect since they changed their sound as the second half of the Alchemy Index wasn't that good, luckily their newest 'Beggars' is very good. Here's how I'd rank the albums I've heard: 1. Alchemy Index Vol. 1 and 2: Fire & Water 2. Vheissu 3. Beggars 4. Alchemy Index Vol. 3 and 4: Air & Earth 5. The Artist In The Ambulance Reccomended Songs: Red Sky 9-T_8Rt3MpU Firebreather ZzX-fkAtIQ0 For their earlier sound check out The Artist In The Ambulance IEoEd0ef4_4 Thoughts and opinions?

BAND OF THE WEEK: Million Dead
Me and Chris are (hopefully) going to stick to this and will try to bring a mix of established and lesser known bands for everyone to discuss. http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/484699/Million%20Dead.jpg I've decided to start with Million Dead, they've split up now but front man Frank Turner has achieved a phenomenal amount of success in recent times with his solo work. This band combined elements of punk, post-hardcore and a maybe a bit of hardcore to great effect and it ended up being awesome. They released two albums, firstly A Song To Ruin in 2003 and then Harmony No Harmony in 2005. My favourite is definitely the latter but the first is by no means bad. Enough of my rambling, listen to these three for awesomeness. IRnkXVXQBWY dhQMYqbLkxA AUR_zBrbz9s
