No, it isn't just you. Also, pity so many rush now to buy her album, because she died - horrible. :( Where were they when she released, had concerts and later, when she was troubled? Where was the help? :cry: She should have been an even bigger star in her heydays. People rushing now seem like the bugs helping the vultures (record label) pick the 'carcass' clean. It's not bad , for a rapper, but the chorus is weak, he needed a better vocalist in this collaboration. He should have used Eric Turner.

Not the worst but: I am another one that cannot stand 'Bleeding Love'. The vizual image that 'bleeding' is evoking ...better leave it at that... And to see millions buying and listening and applauding something that evokes periods in women/ wounds on soldiers etc., sorry , I can't bear. And that 'keep-keep bleeding' was my 'WTF'? moment. Really couldn't stomach it - pity Leona is better known for that song... ( Please don't come with the explanations re: lyrics, I know them. I still see other things when I hear those verses). And the ridiculous praise it received from the public made it even worse. I'm not a fan of vocal stunts a la Leona and Mariah , but I can actually enjoy some of their songs as I think their voices are very good, I just hate the vocal acrobatics (I find them mostly unnecessary, diminishing a song's value for me). Both have better songs that deserved to be at the top. I actually loved Leona's 'I See You' , 'Run' and 'Happy'. I also like her new one, 'Collide'. Worst songs for me are anything that's based on talking (instead of singing), warbling unnecessarily, poor musical composition and/or poor lyrics, too much autotune or lack of vocal ability, too much ripping off other well known songs. I know that's a big chunk of the recent music but I don't care for it. Gimme Dusty, Gladys and Adele any time - I suppose I'm a retro at heart.

She's got to 1 in Slovenia, jumped 9-6 in Italy, projected to be back to no.1 in UK and US and who knows what happens on others I haven't checked?

Every artist and label promotes differently, I understand that.... Adele doesn't make a lot of MVs - I gathered as much. But to be able to properly promote some of the songs , in an era when the album '21' has such an immense succes , surely even Adele and her team know that videos for the singles are a must. Even with ther debut album , '19' she had 4 videos - or more : Make You Feel My Love, Chasing Pavements, Cold Shoulder, Hometown Glory. And now, we are on single no. 3 from '21' and we've still got only a video :RITD and the Live from The Brits for SLY. Where is the much expected SLY video? Or the SFTTR one ? Considering the sales are dropping, both at in the UK and abroad a video could give a new boost to both album and single sales. Are Adele's team lazy?
