  4. Every artist and label promotes differently, I understand that.... Adele doesn't make a lot of MVs - I gathered as much. But to be able to properly promote some of the songs , in an era when the album '21' has such an immense succes , surely even Adele and her team know that videos for the singles are a must. Even with ther debut album , '19' she had 4 videos - or more : Make You Feel My Love, Chasing Pavements, Cold Shoulder, Hometown Glory. And now, we are on single no. 3 from '21' and we've still got only a video :RITD and the Live from The Brits for SLY. Where is the much expected SLY video? Or the SFTTR one ? Considering the sales are dropping, both at in the UK and abroad a video could give a new boost to both album and single sales. Are Adele's team lazy?
  5. How did it work before Google ? http://gigaom.com/video/how-much-did-it-co...-start-youtube/ The adverts started in 2009, since Google took over Youtube . (the rest of the article here) http://www.neowin.net/news/youtube-to-trial-pre-video-ads
  6. The only massive thing she is doing right now is a baby  But she is going in the studio in between :)
  7. You do make some wonderful charts , dave. Much appreciated. :) I hope Il Divo doesn't get to no .1 - I'd rather have Bocelli ... or C. Jenkins .

  9. Glad for Obama. Trouble will rise from the South , though. I think Obama will be very cautious in his decisions, at least for a couple of months. Even hesitant.
  10. Good choice. If it was me, I would have gone for Self Inflicted first. Not sure Thinking Of You can have same impact.

Well, I will buy the Take That one -there's the Gary Barlow old fan in me that would buy anything that the man composes. Besides, I really enjoyed Greatest Day - a good show opener, IMHO> . I was a bit peeved that Mark is singing most of the tracks.
  12. ^^You're not, lol, look at my position. THAT is doing bad....
  13. Alex is a powerhouse and the only one to give credible renditions ( as in faultless, vocally) of her songs. The only one in tune throughout. I think , with the right songs/management/promotion , she could be a massive success in the US. And in the UK -in the Estelle style.
  14. I'd say the girls have done pretty well for themselves. :) Hopefully they can maintain the top 40 all the way to the New Year -or more !

I loved David Cook on the AI show. This single is just OK  . I feel really annoyed they try to mould everyone. David sounded better on his Analog . Hopefully, it will grow on me. :)

I loved it ! :) I wasn't following it religiously but caught some other episodes in between stuff. Now I'll have to get it all and see what I missed.
  17. I get Heroes, too. Loving it. TSCC is still cool and I'm following it as much as I can, I do catch up sessions, too.. :yahoo:
  18. Is so cool to know beforehand what is going on. :naughty: I follow Tru Blood and TSCC , Dexter and a few more .

Interesting read, vidcapper. Ta. :) Absolutely agree -re: charity single. Ridiculous -GBP lost their mind to the golden Cow(ell) :nocheer: . Somehow, I just so wish Leona fans&supporters mobilised and got huge sales so we can wipe that stuff off no.1. I am willing and buying FM. :yahoo: I am not surprised with P!nk 's album sales. I think she is one of the most talented US imports and deserving of her position (unlike others :P ) . Hopefully, Sugababes can pick up with a second single release - I think they are one of the best girl groups in pop. Releasing year after year might not have helped.
  20. I am sure Leona's will raise pretty soon :music: - remember , she lost 36 hours towards Beyonce and Britters .... What was her management thinking? Darn, I must go buy a copy for my friend 's birthday. I forgot. And she loves Leona.

  24. Loving it. Had it on replay all throughout the drive to London. No surprise it's so high, it's good and a catchy hook, TBH. Huzzah for Katy!
  25. Loving their sales. Never would have expected such a high first week rise (so I went and bought it, hahaaha) and I am glad they are still selling strong.
