He said before the album release multiple times it wasn't an album that was mainstream and wasn't expecting huge chart success. He always branded it as a type of side project for his fans (Even before release) which is why it wasn't a full album campaign. Personally, I didn't like the album at all - It was bland and nothing like his mainstream big moments.

Very unpopular opinion and whilst I don't like all of his work. It baffles me why he's so hated when he actually cares about the charts 🤣 Loads of artists don't care at all or have any knowledge on the positions they chart (Especially big global acts) so it's refreshing to have someone that wants to secure number 1's and break records. I do like his big pop numbers so I'm looking forward to Azizam 🫣

I don't think they'll be that bothered about trying to stay top 10 / avoid ACR it's done insanely well so I'm sure they'll be focusing on the next single soon anyway. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get a 7" / CD this really deserved a physical release.

There's a fan video coming today isn't there? I'm not sure it'll be enough to avoid ACR but might help keep her just inside the top 10.

I think it's safe to say this is a flop but without Spotify support it didn't stand any chance. There's so much potential there so hopefully the label keep pushing on as the album should sell decently and then she can start to build up solo support from the festivals. She's already back in the studio working on album 2 so fingers crossed this happens with RCA and doesn't end up being an independent release as I feel the second album could actually be more successful now she's finding her sound. Hopefully she gets Capital Summertime ball and all these performances can build up the hype again.

It's just such a shame she didn't launch the album off the back of The Brits (Obviously it wasn't even ready for a pre-order link) but I do feel like the hype slows down off the back of an underperforming single and everything moves so fast now it feels like The Brits was months ago. Hopefully she teases next week and then the announcement comes Friday (Also payday so that would probably help pre-orders)

Jade put in discord that physicals will have photo cards (Like Kpop artists) as she has seen people asking for them. Let's just hope they aren't random 'luck of the draw' photocards because then the sales won't count in the charts. Personally, not a massive fan of photo cards...I'd rather just have some unreal vinyl variants (Preferably signed on the cover but I'd be happy with vinyl inserts)

Arena's definitely better in terms of the actual show. I just have a horrific feeling I'm not going to get tickets because it's going to be near impossible. Genuinely she could of sold out 3 stadiums because of the lack of Europe dates. Instead we're going to have to compete with people outside the UK and the huge demand here. I think it's a case of if you get tickets you'll be happy it's an arena date, if you miss out you'll be wishing it was a stadium tour! Hopefully more dates are added but I really do hope she doesn't over do it she's in such an amazing place at the moment I'd hate for her to get burnt out. I really think we'll get a stadium tour next year before she has a bit of a break ( Is the rumour still true about Gaga: The Legacy? ) I can really see that happening as a final tour before her extended break to get married and have children.

Yeah it's really annoying but based on her statement that this tour wasn't originally planned for this year, I'm assuming they had to take what they could get and work around all the dates available.

I think you’ve missed what I’ve said I literally said it’s not a ‘BIG POP NUMBER’ I never said it wasn’t a pop song or it didn’t sound pop. It’s not hard hitting with a big huge chorus it’s very tepid in comparison. Just my opinion though obviously.

Ed will zoom to number 1 I’m sure of it. It sounds huge to me from the clips. Eyes closed wasn’t really a stand out big pop number, I’d say the closest to this single is Bad habits / Shivers etc…

I hope she continues with this release though with some remixes / video content in the run up to the album.
