I'm assuming as there's hype behind it they are getting ready to push this as a single if it does well? I'm just SO GLAD they've learnt from Fantasy she can actually tease looks / parts of the video as it was filmed ages ago it makes such a difference.

Does anyone know if originally IT girl was supposed to follow AOMD? I’m slightly disappointed this didn’t come out after AOMD because it follows on from the AOMD Red Hair Jade look? We know the visualiser / Video was filmed ages ago for this too…?!

Christmas songs probably held up because a lot of stores (non food) stayed closed Boxing Day with sales starting today this year compared to last so I’m assuming more people stayed at home?

The lack of budget really showed. I love Katy but the set made her look like a X-Factor contestant. Hopefully it gives 143 a much needed boost, it needs every sale possible at this point.

I see what you're saying but I'm sure when we're talking 'fake streams' everyone's referring to Amazon artificially inflating a songs streams by playing it a ridiculous number of times when someone asks Alexa to play Christmas songs. I know playlists do the same but the difference is most users aren't asking Alexa to play a playlist they are simply asking for 'Christmas songs' so Amazon have totally capitalised on that unlike a playlist that features a song once.

The concept has been tried and tested where when someone asks Alexa to play Christmas songs the Amazon Original plays every other song or every 2 songs, therefore artificially inflating it's streams. I haven't tested it this year but Sam Ryder was literally played 38 times in the 100 Christmas songs that played when I asked Alexa to play 'Christmas Songs' :lol:

Gracie's team should have pushed this week! I do think we'll see a trend of Christmas song's not doing as well in the couple of weeks before Christmas in the week (As people are getting earlier and earlier with putting decs up) BUT then having bigger streaming on Christmas day.

If this ends up being a hit naturally I wonder if they'll make it a single. There seems to be almost like a single buzz around this compared to Fantasy.

Lower numbers for Wham than I expected but Amazon seems to always have more of an influence so I expect Wham to still grab number 1 easily especially with all the physicals out.

The release date being the 20th is also after the Christmas chart? Bit odd considering he keeps mentioning to download from Saturday to count towards Christmas number 1 so baffling why the physicals aren't out the same week.
