Just listened. It’s very messy! The insanely catchy chorus almost gets lost when it seems to start midway through a verse. I can’t tell if it’s intentionally this messy or if going back into the studio to add stronger vocals / layered adlibs etc has affected the flow of the whole song. I still stand by the fact it’s her best for me so far BUT I was expecting so much more from her (The B side sounds incredible and meaningful so I’m excited to hear that) I think they’ve played it way too safe with every release.

I’m guessing they are going with a similar strategy and releasing physicals after release? I just hope there isn’t a long wait this time!

I’m guessing it will when / if she releases the album. They’d be silly not to release the album because there’s so much they can do now! Independent album tours (with bundled albums) personally signed copies, various versions im sure she would chart top 3 at least if they pulled out all the stops potentially number 1 on a quieter week.

The new video clip looks a bit more interesting… 59p on iTunes from the start to (pre-order is up) I think I judged this a bit too early it’s not sounding terrible and it’s VERY catchy but it’s still lacking something.

Is it definitely for the Fantasy video? I wonder if she’s shot a visualiser for release day with the official video coming a week or 2 after? I have a feeling she’ll keep mixing things up to keep it interesting.

It’s so hard to compare because 10 years ago she wouldn’t have had any say in anything it would have been given to her (Puppet on a string pop) Really disappointed though I genuinely thought we’d be getting some grittier pop songs (Olivia Rodrigo Esque ) that had really interesting vocals not just bland paint by numbers pop :(

I think it’s the remixes and the S.A.D version that are keeping it higher. They all seem to stream reasonably well. I’m secretly hoping it’ll avoid ACR again so it sticks around right up until Fantasy is out haha!

Not surprised at Jade non singles usually perform poorly regardless of who it is (Not sure she's that established as a solo artist to just do a random drop Wednesday and enter) The Chart seems more static than ever, loads of songs have been in the top 50 for months and months.

I don't understand how she's managed to get this SO WRONG. Even the visuals she looks cute but aren't we over the days of just posing / pose / posing in music video's (I love The Saturday's but the clips so far is what it reminds me of)

I checked earlier and it said 11k streams OUCH! Hopefully that’s not fully updated but I did think it might sneak top 200 given AOMD went in so high. I guess like with all the LM girls they are still trying things out and building individual fanbases. Hopefully the second single gets good playlist support and some TV performances.

Ok that’s terrible! I hate to say it but everything sounds so basic. It’s beyond generic and just sounds dated from that clip it doesn’t even sound catchy. However, Maybe the full song surprises me!
