  1. Jordan sounds so bad she makes Geri Haliwel sound like a true vocal talent

Yeah but for example. "come & get it" in my oppinion is a much better album than "body language" - but Kylie's album sold more, as an artist and a symbol she has allot more appeal than Rachel Stevens. Regardless of who had the better music. The general public never took a big likeing to Rachel Stevens. People generally don't have much of an oppinion on her

yeah, her first album was awful! People are crazy for not buying her second album. It just goes to show though that good music does not sell the artist. the artist has to be interesting, and rachel is not very interesting. is she?
  4. Lohan is brilliant. publicity queen but she is a good young actress and her music has enjoyed mild success. Her first album sold about a million copies in the states - that's nothing to winge about. People will always have their oppinions on Paris. Personally, I think she is smart as she is inicially famous for nothing but she keeps people's interest still. Unlike Chantelle who's 15 minutes are clearly up.

I totally agree! This album was ace and so was "don't want you back"
  6. the only song i like on her "new album" (online album) is "heaven" I think its amazing! Other than that the album seems rubbish.

Rachel Stevens "Come & Get It" Dannii "Girl"
  8. its actually, quite good. but still to a big fan like myself i cant help but feel like this is a step back in her career. It's like Rachel Stevens "more more more" almost. Its like she is so desperate for a hit she has resorted to covering "an old disco classic". Still, I like it. But this is a remix and dannii's remix's always differ to the actual video/radio versions. I will be intrigued to see what the video is like. Bet its a tacky night club and someone is wearing an afro. hmmm. lol

Which is why its better when an artist releases a "singles collection" (many artists have) Its much better because you get everything they released as a single. This concept it probably more for the fans though.

I must agree I adore this song now. And I really really like the video! The beginging with the dripping nail varnish just sets off the entire pace of the video and song. Its very dark electro pop

Though this song has grown on me its still next to awful in my books. The sample is the catchiest hook, then it starts to sound like a parody when the yodelling comes in. Its NOTHING compared to any of her other singles. Well, maybe besides "luxurious" cuz that was awful also

to be very fair only limited amounts of "electric" were produced. Isn't it true that only something like 10 thousand copies were actually made by the label? That would explain why it dropped out of the charts like a brick. Once those copies were sold, that was it. It could have easily sold around 7 to 10 thousand in its first week with a charting position like 13

I hope the album is released before she is dropped. Her two singles have been overlooked. It does not meen they are no good. Its like the Rachel Stevens effect. Only, Alesha isn't amazing. lol

I hope this is true but I only hope she does not give up on the sound she went with for "come & get it". I hope she remains with the electro pop style sound.

I think Kim Wilde is one of the best British female artists. Not so much for vocal talent but overall her music has been brilliant. Especially her earlier stuff before she decided she wanted to be a Kylie/Madonna
  16. below is a youtube link for the new clubland 10 tv ad. in it there is a short clip of dannii's new song "he's the greatest dancer". though its only a few seconds long, it doesn't sound to hot -_- Though you have to keep in mind the version of the song on this album is a remix. But it sounds tacky and very AATW, not the quality of her london music. Maybe im being to harsh considering its only a clip, hopefully its better than it seems. also on the clip is a remix of sugababes "easy" and girls aloud "something kind of ooh" (which both sound fab! ) clubland 10 ad
  17. I belong to you is amazing! If you are a pop lover and you haven't heard her album "fresh" then you should really try and get a hold of it. there is no filler, 6 of the 12 tracks were singles (and the other 6 are dam great to) people write her off as a joke really but her album is pop gold. even to this day. and its so unusual. the packaging and style.
  18. Its funny when people just think of her and think "ooh ahh just a little bit" she had a moderatly succesfull album and 4 other top 20 singles. 3 of them beign top 10 singles. she isn't a one hit wonder.
  19. I really like this but so far these two singles are no where near as anthemic and strong as those on "hot fuss". There are better songs on this album to be singles than this, the title track "sams town" for a start and "reasons unknown" love them songs!
  20. I agree
  21. Dirty Dancing is a classic to me. lol
  22. I often think they look alike lately
  23. I agree, its simply crazy. That's why its so brilliant! Its like a "my humps" for the loony bin. LOL
