  1. gosh I used to love sash!
  2. It is simply because kylie is a pop artist that some people write her off with people like britney and other "pop tarts" Britney is not a pear to Kylie. Kylie is on a completley different level.
  3. I agree. It just sounds like a digital mess. His Prince impressions (his vocals) are really starting to annoy me also. The structure to his songs at the moment aren't inventive or cool, they're just messed up. I don't want to use the word "noise" but yeah, very much so.

I know what you meen about the OTT'ness. One of the "mutants" looked shockingly like that thing out of the Goonies. It was really disturbing! lol

I really find your views interesting in all honesty. But I adore the mtv movement and films like Flashdance. Yes every movie should not be carried out like a music video but to me its very appealing. I also prefured the "Hills Have Eyes" remake. I find it really hard to believe that anyone can find the original scary. The only thing the remake lacked was Michael Berryman of the original. haha
  6. Regardless of who you like better Kylie has a much better voice The only people that say Kylie can't sing or Kylie does not have deep songs are ignorant people who do not really know all her music, have not seen the live performances and just write her off as another pretty faced pop tart. Its ignorance. Just because she does not sing big ballads and does pop music does not meen she can't sing. Kylie is highly credible. This topic is a joke! Its unarguable. The facts are undeniable about Kylie's talent. I would love to see Britney attempt to hit the notes Kylie can. As much as I actually like Britney. And Im not really fussed if what I say may offend anyone. Its frustrating when someone says Kylie can't sing. Its not an oppinion, its a fact that she can sing.

Damien did speak in the original movie. He had an iritable cockney acsent. He didn't say much but when he did he hardly came accross as "evil". Mia Farrow again was far better than the original Nanny - who spouted something cringworthy in the 70's film like "I am here to protect theee!" Bottom line is, I prefure the remake. There is no right or wrong about it. Its just what I like. It has its fair share of problems also, but I would rather watch it And when I say its to 70's...there are films that cleaverly try to hide the time in which they were made. But maybe its because I don't like 70's media on a whole. I like it when films look 80's, because I like the 80s. And The original Omen film looks cheap and the MUSIC - possibly John Williams worst score ever. And when the priest/monk (whatever he was) got killed the pole did not even touch him. It was awful. And the mother's death in the re-make (though technically incorrect) was far more emotive and powerful than simply frowing her out a window like what the nanny did in the original film.

Yeah it will chart better (easily) but its not better. Quality over quantity

LOL I knew you would say something like that :P I really do prefure the remake. The original has mroe of an atmosphere but I actually prefure the modern settings, Mia Farrow and the glossy direction. The original was to 70's. Music to corny and Damien spoke to much.

Well the remake is next to identical to the original. Exact same dialoge etc. Only differences are in time and fashion. For example: in the 70's Damien is playing with a toy, in the remake Damien is playing on a playstation - that sort of thing. Plus one different death scene. I honestly prefure the remake. I know some people will be appauled by that but the original is highly dated. The lead actor annoys me. The nanny is corney and John Williams score is to much. The remake has some problems to. Damien's calvin clien type poses (he is trying to look evil) and Julia Styles as his mother. But overall it has a glossy "mtv" style direction to it and the death scenes are done better. My biggest gripe with it is that the story is set in London yet they so obviously did not film it there. There are foreign road signs and all sorts everywhere!

I like the more electronic rock stuff like "Fiction" rather than the shouty manson-esque type stuff. I quited like Adema! I didn't realise some of the band members went on to play for them. interesting.
  15. Im not that fussed on "bones" :( Will have to give it another spin but it really doesn't stand out to me

Yeah I own their first 3 albums also and its shocking how unknown they actually are really besides "blue monday". Jay Gordan sung a great song produced by John Davis for the queen of the damned soundtrack called "Slept so long" Their offical website hasn't been updated since their last album in 04 and they haven't been seen to been up to much lately
  17. I doubt it will go to number 1 also but it would be so cool if it did!

Does anybody know if the band Orgy are still together and recording new material? Their last album Punk Statik Paranoia was released in 04 and no news since. :( Wikipedia is pretty useless and doesn't say to much about them.
  20. Is it? I was actually hopeing the title track "Sams Town" or "For Reasons Unknown" would be future singles
  21. I saw them earlier this year at the carling academy in newcastle. good times!
