Its my OPINION ffs. I don't have OCD perfectionist standards when it comes to classifying what as a hit and in my eyes AAG was a massive hit! Any top ten in my eyes is a massive hit, B-rye you come across as if you are trying to dictate whats right and whats wrong and then force it off onto others! Not gonna work me! AAG was a massive hit in my eyes and by my standards. Get the hell over it already! :/ I'm not delusional, I think many people share the same standards as I do when it comes to saying a top 10 single was a hit.

It doesn't seem very Radio 2-ish, I expected AAG to be playlisted on R2 and it wasn't but who knows maybe WMK can suprise us even more. They just need all the airplay and promo they can get!

I completely agree with Jack. Seems like this forum is full of extreme pettyists because whatever I say is wrong and nothing is ever a hit, it must have this type of chart run and that sales total and this length in the top 40 or its success gets described as "minor" or "ok" - you people are just way too overboard, a top 10 single is a big achievement for any artist, especially in this day and age where only the likes of Westlife, All Saints and McFly have an unbeaten top ten chart history. So many fans pray that singles go top 10 and when they do they're not happy they want this and that and the other. It just baffles me, it's like some people on here are just OCD perfectionists.

The reason I brought up point #1 because if AAG is a "minor hit" by your standards then the likes of Sugas and GA would both be classified as having success in the terms of having a long string of minor hits and we all know it's not like that. A top 10 is a top 10 get over it. AAG was a top 10 smash, if you liked the song as much as you say you do you'd agree with me! OK, whatever @ point #2. I honestly don't think its the huge difference your making it out to be. AAG would've have done equally as well after the album IMO, because the group would actually work their asses off to promote the album at the same time benefiting AAG. #3 - I never referred to you as being Jamie's BFF, I was referring to the word immaturity being his BFF. And my PM was no way abusive, I could've argued with him directly in the thread but instead I confronted him in PM like the mods say you can so I could save the other forum members from having to go through the annoyance of yet another vicious girlband argument. I love how you try and find fault to such a petty extent to make AAG's success look like a flop. It sold 40k at #8, that would get you almost or #1 in a release week like that of Pixie Lott's Boys And Girls. Also love how you pick on AAG, and not the 80% of other girlband and Sugababes singles that have had a similar top 40 run to it. The Sugas did EXTREMELY well regardless of the circumstances the single was under: X Factor flooding the charts, little single promo and the Keisha drama. Um, are you for real? :lol: First of all, how will people forget Get Sexy. A #2 smash, and the last single released by the Babes with Keisha on it, it's one of their most distinct sounding and memorable singles they've released, if not the most distinct and memorable! Secondly, a correction, About A Girl was not a minor hit :wacko: or have you been unaware of its peak and sales tally? It was a top 10 smash that's looking to end off sales between 130 and 140k! And lastly, do you have a talent for predicting bad omens? Just because you THINK the album will bomb, doesn't mean it will. In fact any logical prediction will be that it will do anything but. Who wouldn't want to buy a new album by one of the most successful girl groups of all time, an album that's already yielded two top 10 smashes that have both sold brilliantly - and with Wear My Kiss most likely to follow the same trend - exactly what will realistically cause the album to bomb? Nothing!

I'm so excited about this. The music video is one of their best yet and likewise with the song! With a good line up of promo there's just no way this will miss the top 10! I actually see it having similar success to what In The Middle had in its era - peaking higher after the previous single scraped top 10 except in this case I think Wear My Kiss has an excellent shot at top 5!

I don't think people said that it would be #2 at least, they said it deserved #2 at least. There is no way the Sugas would be able to outsell all the X Factor-benefited artists like Leona, BEP, JLS and Cheryl (which they were ahead of at one stage). So the best they could settle for would be around #6, #7 or #8 (which ended up being dead close if you look at last weeks sales). Had no idea how N-Dubz outsold Sugas maybe because it's a first single. So #8 really isn't a slap in the face, the sales are fantastic. And they're holding up really well at #12 now. The thing is, if people could just get over the Keisha incident and stop making such a drama of it than it already was, the group would be doing so much better. It's hard for the girls to go up and perform with people verbally abusing them over Twitter or screaming "Sugasnakes", or everytime the word Sugababes comes up, the Keisha incident always brought up in one way or another, and that is only negative publicity and detracts more and more people from supporting them and their music. Now can everyone just move on, the girls need our support and Keisha happy wear she is now. It's done and dusted, the show must go on. . . :lol:

It's been holding up pretty well on iTunes today at #12. Which is where it should be in tomorrow's midweeks but hopefuly I get suprised with a #11 which isn't at all impossible. :P
