Sugas haven't dropped a place in the last day, better stay that way till Sunday, I'd be really pleased with #12 for its second week but #11 isn't that far out reach either. Come on Sugababes, #11 please! :cheer:

LOL Digital Spy even did a little article on all the girls recent tweets about the album: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a18...or-sweet-7.html

Punching Out would be amazing actually! Jade was looking so promising solo with that and My Man which clearly was a written-all-over-it-#1 turned wtf-flop. Amelle would even sound better than Jade on Punching Out TBH, their voices are just perfect for it
  4. You're right, but for an established act like Sugababes you'd expect a pre-album single to go #1 or do really well like JLS, Pixie Lott etc did with their first two pre-album singles. No Can Do was released after the little success of Catfights, and Change was released straight after About You Now which charted for ages and sold a $h!t load, AND it was released after the album was out. There is a huge difference between pre-album singles and after-album singles so you can't really compare this era with the previous two

It was pretty much a given with X Factor Finalists and Jason Derulo releasing and then overtaking them, which automatically pushes them out the top 10. Hopefuly they don't drop any further, the Radio 1 A-listing should help at least. :D
  10. I wouldn't be that bothered if it drops 6 places, but anymore than 6 would be awful. AAG really doesn't deserve a Get Sexy-like chart run, neither did Get Sexy. But the charts are now as competitive as they were in the 90s where like all songs struggled to stay 10 weeks on the chart. So pleased with the sales too :cheer:, it outsold The Saturdays #2 single's first week sales by almost 10k, which says a lot about how tough it was for them to even get to #8!
  11. Radio play counts more though I guess, it should climb more though next week with its A-listing only coming in rotation this week which hopefuly will help toward it not slipping too much down the charts. ^_^
  12. Ditto! :D I wonder if the girls read this forum LOL? It is the most busy Sugababes forum I think, ever since their official forum moved sites it's been dead and one of the reasons I started posting here was because of how active and informative it was in comparison to their other forums. And if you google search 'Sugababes forum' it comes up as the 3rd result :o
  13. ^ Me too. It was a really close and difficult week though so I'm still pleased. The sales should say a lot more than it peak though so can't wait for them to leak, probably even more than Get Sexy's first week sales perhaps? :o

Not a fan at all of Jordin, hopefuly the song isn't as generic as like all the stuff she's put it out.
  15. Ah perfect! This is exactly what the group needs to rebuild and stabilise their fanbase, and it should help loads for the sales of Sweet 7 too. :cheer: Can't wait.

Yay so excited for that! Loving the group's tweets lately, and so glad Amelle's back on Twitter. :) I don't really know what to think of when the album will be released anymore, it's forever changing and the current plans look so unreal that I'm actually finding hard to believe. But we'll see, hopefuly everyone gets it on the same date which I'd prefer to be after Wear My Kiss is released
  17. I'm still holding thumbs for a top 5 placing LOL. I think it isn't only close between 6, 7 and 8, but rather close between all in the 4-8 category. So who knows, maybe that tweet Jade made was what the babes secure a top 5 placing! Ah, let's hope so! :magic:
  18. I wish this article was published in some newspaper to show what the girls have been through. The noun "abuse" comes into mind, they really are only victims of the attention-hungry media. With those on-going accusations and brutal insults I can actually fully understand fully sympathise with Amelle's breakdown, and then someone had the nerve to say it wasn't "a real issue" they were dealing with. What also annoys me, is some of these idiots are actually on this forum. If you go into the chart forum, they're called "Sugafakes" by many, and some even say AAG should've been doing a lot better after the band publicity from the whole saga - when in actual fact it's the complete opposite. I can't stand these bullies, and the majority of them are actually fans of other girl bands just trying to make the Sugas look bad, or actual Sugababes fans who actually are enjoying causing all this drama around the band. It's so pathetic, people really need to grow up. Shame on Popjustice, and to think the Popjustice forum was one of their biggest support bases! But I'm so glad that 4.0 is showing these losers what they're made of by rising above all the attacks and actually making a success of About A Girl and all their interviews/performances.
  19. I know! :( Ugh and to think the likes of "Ugly" and "Girls" will be outpeaking it is so frustrating. Speaking of number 7s, "Stronger/Angels With Dirty Faces" actually peaked at #7 and that ended up selling really well for a 3rd single, so maybe AAG make the same compromise. A fourth #8 single would be dreadful but it's still better than missing the top 10 altogether.
  20. Insight Into The Fashion Style We Can Expect From 4.0 'Babes stylist, Alison Elwins influences for the style of the pop princesses came from the 80's and 90'. "I looked at the late 80's and early 90's super models and it got me thinking how the most basic white T-shirt to having the tightest body con dress can be as sexy as each other if worn correctly. To me less is more." So, you can expect the girls to be less girl bandy and more individual. As the girls are all different shapes and sizes, Alison has moved them away from the uniform look and taught them to dress for themselves and not to be afraid to experiend and try new labels. "Amelle is loving Hannah Marshall who has a great way of mixing fabrics, leather and chiffon to make the perfect dress. She is also enjoying the chunky knits from Claire Tough and has some amazing Ailia pieces from Rellik. Heidi loves Yong and I have just introduced her to a designer, Marjan Perjoski at Kokon To Zai, who has done some great lace pieces. Jade has fallen in love with a body con zip front piece by Millie Cockton." Obviously we know these girls are high street junkies and, fred not, they haven't gone all high fashion on us. "Like everyone, the girls are into mixing high street with designer pieces. One of Amelle's favourite leather jackets is from Asos and Jade looks incredible in a Primare jumpsuit that her sister gave her. She wears is with her Givenchy sandals and a vintage belt to give it her own little twist." As we know, fashion is supposed to be fun and, music and fashion are fusing together now more than ever. "Lady GaGa has brought fun and drama back into pop music and everyone is stepping up their game. So, expect the girls' game upped and keep an eye out for these fashion queens!" 21. ^ It's going to miss the top 5 as well, as if things couldn't get more tragic. .
  22. Yeah, but the album hasn't been released yet. Singles prior to the album release always do well so it's not the same with their other second singles because they were out before the second single was released. It was also looking so promising for top 5 on Monday when it was #5 in the midweeks and since then it's dropped 6-7 and probably 8 by Sunday. And #8, for me, is disappointing for one of their better singles and a single that's been released before the album. If AAG only manages #8, WMK will most likely miss the top 10 unless it's released in a quiet release week.
  23. Down to #7 in today's midweeks. :snif:
  24. They should've have released a Keisha version to download as well, they'd definitely be top 5 then LOL! #3 on Amazon is great news though :cheer:
  25. TBH the babes started out wearing anything but skimpy or revealing outfits or being so confident in how they look etc, and Amelle and Jade seem the quite opposite where Heidi never was known for doing that which is why I think she sticks out so "beigely". Heidi also comes across as a bit of an intravert, it seems since she came she's always been on the outside whilst the other two girls had a ball with each other. And it seems to be the same with 4.0, Jade and Amelle are really getting along well. I just hope that that won't result in Heidi becoming Siobhan part 2.
