I am suprised Hero held on but its better than the No.2 track!

oooh thanks for clarifying hugo!

they have a chart similar to Hit40UK that airs on stations such as Galaxy... http://www.fresh40.co.uk/chart/

Maybe they will re-issue it on physical this year to give an extra push to the ballads... who knows! It's my fave xmas track ever... I love the beginning...

I think its a great idea!

Martin you added them same time i did..lol

Its so annoying that UK does not have a reliable reporting service for music... Music Week doesn't update their main charts until the next day, while the charts are published on free sites like Yahoo by 8pm on Sunday. And people pay MW to get this info

yes it does... thanks

I would have thought Dido would be doing better!

Back Home has UK sales in access of 854,344 (figure published by Music Week, last week of Dec 2007).

Oh if you are interested in Single Sales in the UK... this was published in April 2008 (I think) by Music Week... Martin may be able to confirm exact date.... Coast to Coast has alone done about 8 million worldwide. The album was a major success in Asia, helped by their Mariah Carey duet and tour. Also I think when the 40mil figure is said they refer to Singles & Album sales...

I have also read that too somewhere...

Has UK moved towards the american system of reporting of current charts by removing catalogued titles on both albums and singles? The only reason I ask is that I was speaking to someone today and they were telling me that Music Week has started to report catalogue charts...

Thanks... Hopefully someone will have the Top 40 soon.

Does anyone have the combined album chart?
