  1. La Tortura was one of Europe's biggest tracks last summer, but shunted in the UK. I think the UK was one of the only countries not to have it released as a single.

    $h!t! Russt68, that's awesome.
  3. Pink - Get The Party Started

No I meant Ne-Yo wrote the song/music for Rihanna.

Shakira's still doing very well, considering the song is over 9 weeks old.

It's similar I guess. But even if it's the same, it's still an awesome track. Ciara does crunk best.

I at first thought this song was rubbish, but now it's my favourite song at the moment. The video is ace. She looks dead fit and dances her ass off! [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZsfwYCDWlk.swf

Ne-Yo wrote the song and the music, so you can't really say Rihanna ripped it off.

Top 3, No. 1 if there's no competition. I'm from the ghetto and this song is HUGE.
  10. Shakira - Whenever Wherever Iio - Rapture Rihanna - S.O.S. There are many more.
  11. I want to have your babies?

    That's good to hear!
  13. I think it's best dancability. So although the songs aren't dance, they can be danced too. Either Shakira or Madonna will win that one. Shakira and the Red Hot Chili Peppers lead this year's award nominations. The public also decided the nominations this year as well.
  14. 1. Christina Aguilera 2. Shakira 3. Rihanna 4. McFly 5. Madonna 6. Lily Allen 7. James Morrison 8. Rogue Traders 9. Nelly Furtado 10. Snow Patrol
  15. Actually they were the same company, but Time Warner sold off its music making branch to investors.

I'm shocked at how much single sales have declined since 2000.

Also, weekend sales are a major factor in who's Number 1. That's why, when CD:UK used to be on Saturdays, they would get it wrong from time to time (e.g. once Victoria Beckham was Number 1 on the Saturday chart, but on the Sunday main one it was Sophie Ellis Bextor).

    Yeh I am.

I like this song a lot (obvious by my screen name), and hope it gets to the top of the charts; it's definately Shakira's best single since WW, imo. I think Shakira is very talented, and whilst she may not be as great a singer as say Christina Aguilera, she's a better performer and entertainer. With HDL, I think the World Cup will also boost the song's success, because they're officially releasing the World Cup remix next week, which should equal more chart success for Shakira in the UK.
  20. Why in the world isn't Shakira on their list?

Ditto from here (I'm a newbie from Shakirafanz).
