  1. Well good on them. The thing you need to remember is these artists don't make much from album sales anyway (it's the live concerts where they get paid a lot), so it's a better deal for them. Plus, we don't have to pay £10.
  2. Good music, $h!t lyrics and generic video. Should be a hit...
  3. Umbrella = Better than all the other songs put together (even in one mega mix, 30-minute single).
  4. She was the original WAG. Started it all off.

Reminds me of Peter Andre for some reason...
  6. I don't really seem to notice (or care about) the American accent thing. What I have noticed though is she's said "f*** off" to her British fans, and caters only for African Americans and US soul fans.
  7. "Mix it all together and you know that it's the best of both worlds."
  8. Kate Nash is a very acquired taste. I think it'll tail off quite steeply next week.
  9. Girlfriend Remix is having an effect.
  10. Cascada is a global success, in mainland Europe, North America and Asia. Their second album will be lavish, with actual money spent on it.

  12. They are the official remixers. But I think the original of this is better.
  13. Well, Kate Nash is so obviously not "street" or whatever the hell she's trying to be in that vid. I'm not fond of these "posh and rich, but let's pretend" singers that seem to have popped out of no-where. Lily Allen, Mark Ronson (DJ, i know), Kate Nash and Jamie T are prime examples. They're obviously not "real" and street, it's an act. I mean, Jamie T's never had to work for money in his life, what the frak would he know about being on the dole. And even his accent is fake. And then there's that "arts school" c**p they're trying to pull: like they say they're equal to you, but you know they think they're better. It's so shallow. At least with Cheryl Cole/Tweedy/whatever you know what you're in for.
  14. You haven't heard 'Caroline's A Victim' yet have you? IwsBacKQwLU
  15. Rihanna by miles. GGGB is the Loose of 2007.
  16. Yeah okay vid. Not as good as Umbrella though.

It didn't flop on Disney Channel though. Got played A LOT!
  18. I think it's a genuinely fun pop song.
  19. I believe in the US, it's airplay is being added to the normal Girlfriend.
  20. I've never understood how that aspect of the new chart rules worked.
  21. But when it comes to digital downloads, if this is downloaded more than When You're Gone, does this contribute to WYG sales or Girlfriend sales?

Both are good, but Beyonce is better. However, I have a feeling Michelle Williams will kick both their asses.
  23. This is perhaps one of the best remixes ever. And it's getting a single release Stateside on July 25th. h5E90PP5exs I think this song will get a UK release. It's sure to bring Avril Lavigne back up the Hot 100 in the USA. But if released in the UK, can it chart? Is it its own single? Or will its sales be added to the existing Girlfriend sales?
  24. The album version is too short.
  25. It's on the UK music channels as a "pre-release" track.
