Actually, thinking about it, I'd rather have Mario win, as he's the only one I can see not putting Corin up. I'd have thought JJ2 would put Corin up, but if he sticks up what he said, he'll go by his nominations, I wouldn't mind him winning.

There was a rumour France was 5th in the public vote, but 18th with the juries, which would tie in with France today criticising the 50/50 split and calling for it to be a solely public vote.

I thought Aloha from Hell were the best, though Aly and AJ were okay too. Didn't really like Malese Jow, though it sounds like a grower.

Love Generation is great, and would probably do well in the contest. Not sure about One, it was all right but nothing brilliant.

All three weren't bad, though I preferred 'I Love You'.

I found All Around Me the best, though I thought that all were at least fairly good.

Urban Symphony - I loved them in last year, and love them now. Would get high points from me, though I'm not sure how well it would do, due to the fact it's not a typical buzzjack genre, not to mentioned the language barrier. Alexander Rybak - Hmmm. I don't think it's too bad, but it's nothing compared to Fairytale, which I imagine a lot of people will try to compare it to. Could do better than Urban Symphony though. Svetlana Loboda - This is good, though the language barrier won't do it any favours. I think it's the most likely to qualify, but I'm not sure how well it'll do in the final. Would again get high points from me.

I think Azerbaijan was considered disappointing not just because it came 5th, but that it came 5th with such a campaign behind it (several million dollars I believe?), with no clear winner this year and as the favourite, pretty much up to the end of the contest. I don't believe that the UK had any of this last year.
