i liked both performances mariah looked and sounded great, i heard migrate x3 now and i like!! it is an urban beat driven club jam with grower appeal, its going to be BIG, stuff that US radio loves and its better to dance to than TMB, it does sound familar the chorus part but i too can't place it, the album version needs to be heard to judge better

top10, its not as strong as the first 2 releases i think buyers will switch to the album (boosting will take place) instead of buying this, the video doesn't help...its dire too much action and doesn't fit the song at all!!

they are over priced and i think buyers see albums selling for £7.99 and think why bother spending £1.99 for 2 tracks or £2.99 for 3 tracks when i can get 10+ tracks for £8. i think in the future what we'll start to see is only the the bigger artists will still sell the physical cd singles along side downloads. x-factor singers like leon, shayne ward rely heavily on physicals along with charity singles like katie melua, spice girls, leona but the priority will be to get them stocked in supermarkets to get the crucial mums and nans buyers that don't go to music stores too often. you could argue it seems a waste to manufacture a cd that only contains just 2 or 3 tracks, the use of plastic and paper. when downloading is a more environmently friendly way to go

what are mariahs's people thinking?? they are going to tear her apart on FNP and expose her diva demands, leak the info to the media to get press attention for the shown and make fun of her on the follow up episodes. i hope i'm wrong but we are talking about manipulative channel 4 so its possible. mariah doesn't take herself too seriously so she should be ok on the night, she is likeable when she is being interviewed i just hope they don't humiliate her and make her too uncomfortable.

looks like 3 big singles are coming stronger than TMB, she just needs two from this album to go to #1 to break elvis' record.

also the mccann's are media friendly they were savy they knew how to work the media and hired a publicist and got their family in the UK to do interviews, they courted the media and the media saw that they were willing to do photos and interviews so used their story to sell to the public all the while trying to raise awareness for their daughter. also the media is shallow and fickle they put a huge emphasis on the fact that madeline was "beautiful" and that somehow made the story more sad or tragic in their eyes and therefore in the public eyes. that her beauty was the reason the person abducted her....well thats was what i heard one of her relatives say at the time it happenes. but looks or class shouldn't come into this at all, they are both children and shannon's story is just as worthy as madeline's which is just as worthy as all the abducted children that we hear about and don't hear about.

thats really bad and very crafty by simon cowell, such a small percentage now its clear why its so expensive, he is wanting a sizeable cut too and at the same time by making it dear, he is trying to get buyers to plump for the album instead of the single.

wow she is very photogenic, its interesting the cover doesn't really represent the photo shoot inside which has her in floaty ethnic type dresses. she looks so earthy i love the location!!

i think cause she is promoting "love in the time of choloera" she is the biggest star attached to the project the actors are rnot as famous as her so they won't get covers. i'm sure as part of the deal she did with them the film company have got her to do promo work to support it. its cool it keeps her profile up and gets a chance for the public to know her better

"my all" is great too what a beautiful intro to that when mariah starts to sing her voice is so soft and emotive. and the dance remixes were fire too, there was a excellent unofficial garage mix a few years back!!

i think she's worthy i'm not surprised she is doing really well, she is filling a void there isn't anyone like her right now, she has that distinctive 60s retro voice and singing style

i like it!! from the very first listen but this is a also grower, i think this will do well, top3 but i'd like to see this at #1. as you know there are 2 mariahs....the vocal gymnastics songs and the more urban side and this is the latter with a laidback groove and quirky lyrics. its a subtle track not showy and it has a great simple and fun video, its good to see mariah not taking herself too seriously. this is one of the better and strongest lead singles from mariah

its the celebrity magazines to blame like shallow weight obssessed heat, ok magazines etc they encourage her and she signs deals with them, selling her life/soul for money. they need media whores like her, posh and jordan so they can have something to write about. who buys these magazines? it must be bored shallow women who identify with them :wacko:

i'm definately going to catch There Will Be Blood in the cinema before it goes, i really want to see someone who is genuinely talented act, i know i won't be disappointed by mr. day lewis, one our best actors!! i'd love to see daniel, marion, tilda and javier all in a film they are all so charismatic!!

TMB has enough momentum and i think her first week album sales will be insane!! as in high!! i hope she outsells kanye's first week sales

i think this era for mariah is going to be strong, with a subtle lead single sony must be confident that they are holding back bigger and better tracks. i think 2008 will be mariah's year, she has the platinum selling voice and with a strong album she could reign supreme

interesting i wonder if this deal is linked to her charity? with some profits go to PD? or ALAS? i think so cause she clearly doesn't need the money. she should take advantage o her strong position and get these deals that come her way now that she is a global superstar she can now negotiate her deals on her terms like she did with SEAT.
