  2. i can't wait to see what she writes and produces this time. i bet more eclectic tracks, she looks so relaxed and free sprited.
  3. she is so beautiful!! the glamorous look suits her photogenic face and curves. the ones with her beautiful warm smile are my favourite. i especially like the latin america one with the white dress. i wish she was on the UK version but we get over exposed J-lo this month talking about her private life as always  why does she get so much exposure with her string of flop albums, singles and films.
  4. its doing so well already, i'm not surprised at all a great track by mariah, laid back groove with quirky lyrics and a catchy chorus i'm looking forward to the remixes. i hope a dance version is in the works freemasons please!! she can afford their services

impressive performance by duffy, nickleback got denied the rare 3-2-1 ascension to the top
  6. thanks for the list, she did so well 80k i really liked the panasonic pink winged dress, that would look cool on display with the wings up. also the panasonic outfits in the paint commercial should have been sold, that amazing sculpture lamp shade dress, this one look here..... http://bp2.blogger.com/_3qV-xVbeSOw/Rq-YPr...600-h/shak5.jpg and this one.... http://www.guiasenior.com/contenidos/images/PanaShaki.jpg i know the second one has paint on it but who cares :) i got daz
  7. so many great tracks to choose from imo "always be my baby" is one of the best songs of 90s, an absolute classic still sounds so good today. if you like your mariah with an urban edge check out the "fantasy" puffy remix with ODB and "the roof" mobb deep remix both superior r'n'b/rap fuison tracks
  8. i think this is a really strong single especially for the US market, its a much better lead track than "It's Like That". i see this #1 on billboard (an urban remix will boost it). who will be on it i wonder? kanye, snoop, pharrel, flo rida, TI, T-pain, bone thugs or even lil mama, missy? maybe a vocalist? akon?

i was excited that maybe blanche would start serving customers with becky!! that what i've been wanting for weeks now -_- please don't let it be ken. i loved becky's banter with the builders "i love builders cause your dirty boys" cue dirty laugh by becky and builders. note to producers of corrie: we want more blanche and becky

i think Duffy has a good chance. hitting #1 on itunes already is an encouraging sign, she has another 3 solid days of strong download sales she should leap the competition come sunday
  11. i like it! good comeback single its a little subtle not showy but the good news is its a grower unlike janet's feedback single. its catchy, i like the line "i will hunt you down", i bet a rap remix is coming. mariah loves those remixes. its good to have mariah back i think it will do well in the US
  12. how much did the auctions raise so far? around 50k? the guitars are lefts :w00t:both got bids so that another 14k to add to PD. but did you see the delivery charges for the UK? not reasonable at all! <_< i'm not surprised the leaves bra and panties didn't sell they were crazy to ask for 10k  look... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=250212102024
  13. hello!! yes please i want it!! the instrumental for LDLI, pm me too! now! i mean when you can! now!!
  14. wow this is a big deal, i wonder if shakira has filmed anything for them or if they are using WW footage from her concert? it would be good promo for the tour dvd
  15. great finds DaVeLoVeShAkI!! shakira definately can relate to their situation especially being with the bangladeshi kids its like she is back in colombia, she knows the problems of education in her country and how it can help children out of poverty and out of tragedy. wise words from shakira she really is doing great work and pushing for education
  16. pure intuition
  17. beautiful girl next door!! i like that blue cap picture where she is close to antonio
  18. i too have stopped listening to the countdown, i get the chart rundown from buzzjack plus here there are knowledgeable people that know the facts/stats like chart runs etc, why listen to radio 1 with people that don't know what they are talking about? they are always getting their facts wrong, you just get fed up with it. the chart is slow moving and its the same songs played again and again. radio1 and others should put a limit on how many times they play a song in the top40 countdown. if a song has been on the chart for say 10 weeks and is descending down the charts then they should stop playing it even if it is top40. make it a rule. i think people are listening less to radio 1. if people want to hear a song, they don't want to wait to hear it on the radio with interuptions and ads they want it now and just go to youtube to maybe preview and then buy off itunes. also youtube has visuals it may have live versions of the track you like and remixes. i think the only reason to listen to radio is for the djs not for the music. if you want to check on the new songs you can see the new additions on radio 1's playlist and if i haven't heard a track you can get or hear it online you don't need radio 1 to hear the track. another factor why the chart is slow moving is the new ipod owners, every week more and more people are getting them and starting to download older tracks along with the new stuff thats why you have old releases like "chasing cars" & "back to black" still charting. new ipod owners want their fave tracks from the past year. you really saw the older songs boost after xmas cause so many had new ipods. i think this trend will continue it may slow down even more it seems to be going that way now when you look at the top20 on itunes not much movement. it's no longer a big deal for songs to have long chart runs.
  19. it works really well, i'm surprised more artists aren't hiring them to remix their tracks, after the high profile successes of "Deja Vu" and "Beautiful Liar" remixes you'd think record companies would be all over them. i think they are quite picky about who they work with but i'm glad they took on the DC girls i love those 90s R'n'B beats and remixes so this is an unexpected move by the freemason boys but they have a good ear and can handle this kind of production too. also check out the longer mixes of "work" cause they give kelly the dance treatment in the beginning before switching tempo in the middle to the R'n'B meets Bhangra fusion and then back to dance for the climax.
  20. these remixes are pretty outstanding, the original is too basic and boring but the freemasons worked their magic. the 10 minute club version is fire :music:

clearly Annie Lennox, her voice is really distinctive and has that rare quality of being soulful too like another great british singer dusty springfield. dido sounds similar to other singers and a bit forced before she came out i thought she was copying sarah mclachlan's singing style

Dido will have to do tons of promo this time around if she doesn't she will under sell like blunt, mariah carey will do ok here but massive in the US all she needs is another WBT out of the bag. i think madonna will do well i love "4 minutes to save the world". but it sounds like a timbaland track featuring justin and madonna not a madonna track at all. she is definately courting the urban pop market and with timbaland and justin she can't fail. she wants to make sure US radio plays her and they will love 4 minutes! ashlee simpson and janet flopping
  23. i really like it! its distinctive, although i wish wyclef had given her more like the bridge or ad libs at the end. the production is amazing so much going on. but my favourite track is bollywood meets hollywood what a monster of a track that is! fusion at its best!!
  24. i don't believe there is a single called temptress and that she has worked with snoop dogg. how has she had time to record new song or songs and delivered this song so it can be previewed by someone. shakira doesn't let sony hear anything she does until her whole album is finished and she takes her time with her albums, she says to them "see you in 6 months" when she begins each new project. also remember she tweaked "la tortura" for one month after it was supposed to be done, she kept adding and changing till it was to her liking. i am sure she has written many songs while travelling and in her time off but as far as going to the studio to arrange and record them i highly doubt it. she has not had a big chunk of time to do this. an album coming late 2008 sounds good and timing wise is doable if she starts working in the studio soon. i'm sure it will be like all shakira's previous album ecclectic with commercial and uncommercial tracks maybe with spanish and english tracks combined instead of the double fixation project which is hard work for her promo wise. it means we may get less songs cause she won't split the album in two. but i reckon we will get many songs like up to 15 on the one album.
  25. they did amazingly well considering no promo support from either of them in the UK market
