how about alex syntek and ana torroja "duele el amor" i love that song!! i haven't heard much latin music but when i heard this for the first time i loved it! his voice is really good, love the guitar and melody, her voice is a bit elfish but its good the contrast works, i prefer his voice overall a great great track!! hear listen... 3. i saw this coming just like with alesha, all saints and emma, you can work out who will be dropped what with under performing singles and albums plus if the singer does alot of promo work in the media like TV like all the above and that still doesn't turn into healthy sales then you know its bad news the public aren't into you and you are losing alot of money for the record compnay, also in the dangerzone aka dropzone are i predict matt willis and jamelia will be next to be dropped also lil chris
  4. yup it was a tuesday and they start counting the digital sales on the day before so it lost crucial sales around 25k i'd say :( this week i don't think BL will get #1 cause Gwen is now a contender she will be on AI  and her digital sales should boost up Akon still looks strong though, i really hope BL continues to sell well to make up for its so so airplay, i'd say the following week it will get to #1 it really needs Beyonce's promo support to help it along
  5. Akon previously had the record but they broke it :cheer: here is an article from billboard: Akon lands his second No. 1 Hot 100 hit on the album "Konvicted" as "Don't Matter" jumps 3-1 on the chart, where it is the fastest growing track at radio for a fifth week. The song follows "I Wanna Love You," which held No. 1 for two weeks in December. Another track from the album, "Smack That," peaked at No. 2 in November after making what was then the largest jump (95-7) in the history of the Hot 100. That distinction now belongs to Beyonce and Shakira's "Beautiful Liar," which rockets 94-3 thanks to digital sales of 150,000 copies. The track comes from a new edition of Beyonce's "B-Day" album, due April 3.
  6. B is for Beekira! A is for ArcMonk cause they have moved up to A List, you bast*rdS!! not the arctic monkeys no but Radio 1!! actually B is better than nothing ;)
  7. yeah Akon decided to also battle for #1 this week and he got it, in the end it was too much to ask for to leap #94 to #1 but to #3 is still very impressive but its all about next week, BL should secure #1

the film is hypocritical they are trying to bring their idea and values of "freedom" to the east and battle the ennemies mysticism and tyranny but the spartans had slaves...hello!? and believed in oracles, it is stupid film for trisha audience mentality, the visuals may be impressive but you need more than that to make it a good film plus gerard is a clone of russell crowe's gladiator character with a dodgy accent, and there is something gay about all these men being together all the time and really looking after their bodies wearing very little, at night they are at a gay disco i bet you have to admit the timing of this film is suspicious, we all know the bush admin want a war with Iran aka Persia next and its not a coincidence that every month iran is in the headlines, they are slowly trying to get public opinon against iran and sell a war to the public, its the same thing with iraq the way the politicians and media tried to win the public over to agree to a war, plus the film says its ok to die for the "cause" aka its ok for soldiers to die fighting in iraq and iran its a great honour...wtf!! don't worry or be sad, so are they just fodder? plus doesn't it matter if it was for a legal war of not? hollywood has links to neocons and the think tank that bush listens too, 24 is written by one and is always anti foriengers anti middle east reinforcing the stereotype of the terrorist and trying to promote fear of "muslims", they also tried to justify jack using torture!? so torture is ok now? plus the military has links too, the film "stealth" was in part funded by the military and it was used to try and recruit US male teens with its propaganda, it was also to say to the world the US military is superior in technology and fire power, computer games that glamourise war have links to military websites too, its all a bit dodgy using mind games but not everyone falls for it cause you need more than a film to convince people going to war with iran is ok

  13. the song has climbed to #24 on the Top 40 airplay its bullet is 551 with an audience of 15.262 million i'm very happy with its progress nice and steady.... but i'm expecting boosting very soon as soon as this weeks hot 100 billboard charts are revealed, radio station will see BL at either #1 or #2 they will play it more and it will rocket up also you can see many songs just ahead of BL losing airplay and falling at a good rate these are #23 FRAY -232 #22 FALL OUT BOY -442 #21 LLOYD -102 #17 LUDACRIS -1457 #16 RIHANNA -431 this will make BL's climb easier ;)

    Arctics #1 Shayonce #2
  17. i checked it, it costs $16,000,000 (million not billion) and if you split that 4 ways you get $4,000,000 thats how much she is spending and thats not bad for your own island considering houses in hollywood sell for more than that
  18. its doing so well....still #1 on itunes its really going for it, could it really jump from #94 to #1 on billboard this week!? cmon shayonce!! and its bullet is healthy too....856
  19. the respectable newspapers are starting to understand and respect shakira as an artist and seperate her from her pop peers, its taken a while though she confuses the media and the public  i love this line from this independent review... "she has creative control as her own writer-producer that exceeds even Madonna's, and separates her from moulded, helpless superstars such as Britney. That explains the unpredictable, organic feel of tonight's show, which is clearly the creation of an artist, not a corporation" and this "the pop industry has not yet tamed Shakira into product" good analysis here is the full article.... http://enjoyment.independent.co.uk/music/r...icle2378382.ece also heres another good one from channel 4's website.... http://www.channel4.com/blogs/page/music?e...y_knew_that_she i like this part.... "What sets Shakira apart from Britney, Madonna or Beyonce (apart from being more popular internationally, and smarter, and prettier, OK, we'll stop) is instead of going nuts, religious or boring, Shakira just seems to get nicer, happier, better. But all the time she's still the complete artist. The real deal. The people's popstar."
  20. in todays guardian there is an article about shakira on page 20 (main section), its a profile on her.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/colombia/story/0,,2041358,00.html

i've seen lost highway (when it was on tv a few years ago) loved it but thinking back i can't really remember it just certain scenes  thats the thing with david lynch...complicated plot non linear, i agree mulholland drive is just so mind blowing i was lucky to go see it in the cinema...it amazed me they way lynch leads you down a path then rips the path right under you :o go see it!! but be prepared to do some hard thinking and analysis, i was ready came prepared and tried to rememeber every little thing and link it somehow, it was so great though trying to figure it out seriously i know what was going on, the plot, what everything meant, what was happening it all came together for me at the end so if anyone has a question about it, i can answer it!! i wouldn't recommend this film to just anyone firstly its a marathon 3 hours, when i saw it 5 people walked out  you need to work your way up to this film so seeing mulholland drive is essential so you know what kind of film you're getting into

i just seen this film and its  but in a good way!! i actually understood it ^_^ well i think i figured it out.....i don't know where to begin, anyone else seen it? is a fan of his work? remember Twin Peaks? i thought Mulholland Drive was a challenge but Inland Empire is even more confusing
