amazing night!! so many highlights the intro to estoy aqui, the classics, "no" performance and the hip shaking songs, HDL was so good live!! its like the video performance come to life, i really couldn't handle it if shakira didn't make hip shakers in the future cause live they are so awesome! loved it! and them! cut chemist were good the first track was repetitve but the others were really good the sampling was great blur, MIA & missy and the scratching and editing in sync at the end, nice work! but forget them shakira rocked london!! and how!!

wow i love shakira vocal intro, she sounds spaced out like talking while dreaming and then the strings come in its beautiful, miguel has a deep and mature voice but it works with shakira's soft voice like father and daughter vibe to it, but what are they singing about anyone can translate for me? the production is great very atmospheric and moody but these are positives...trip hop sounding, on first listen really impressed!! the end vocal parts by shakira are moving her voice has such feeling i love that about shakira's singing i'm typing as i'm listening oh there is Irish folkish sounds coming in at the end....great track!!

what program is best to use to play .rar files cause i can't seem to play it :blink: this suggests that they did a new vocal version, its not just teh addition of him rapping, maybe it new vocals with new lyrics and he is playing the liar in the remix, this is exciting i can't wait to hear it, it clever they have covered their bases they have a midtempo grower, a dance remix coming up, a reggaeton remix, spanish version they are targeting all genres and a wider market

its always a battle in the UK charts if a song has shakira in it cause some radio stations won't play her, apparently galaxy 102 is only playing the beyonce version! (you see what i mean) if airplay is high (it can't get lower than hips don't lie's airplay) then it has a chance at #1 especially if beyonce and shakira come to the UK to support it now that would be something to see! but they have got strong competition top#3.....easy #1...not so easy

this shouldn't turn into a shakira Vs beyonce both have distinctive voices and are good at what they do capbale of writing and producing too which makes them more credible than many female "artists", beyonce may be influenced by shakira it shows in beautiful liar the way she mixes R'n'B, latin and middle eastern sounds but its only cause she is a fan of hers and has been after this collabo for over a year, beyonce makes R'n'B/Pop its quite narrow where as shakira has more freedom musically she doesn't stick to one sound....its really shows in her uncommercial oral fixation albums, its got fusion, depth too and is always distinctive lyrically

^^^very nice and steady, i still think in the US this song will need support by beyonce to boost it so it reaches its full potential but she doesn't have to do any promo work in Europe or Aus they will take to the song much faster and give it a few #1s

this can't be the freemason's remix can it!? maybe its only got beyonce's vocals or have they cut shakira's parts out? damn shame if its without shakira A listed songs get played the most on radio 1, they have heavy rotation and C has the least plays, radio 1 is the biggest radio station here in the UK they have a big influence on the chart and sales its rare for a song to do well or reach #1 without radio 1 play listing it unless the artist or group do a massive promo tour including TV to help generate sales, thats why HDL was such a big deal when it got to 1 here, it did it without radio 1's help and without shakira doing any promo work to support it i feel there is something dodgy going on at radio 1, someone high up dislikes shakira with a passion and have black listed her songs...they see her as foriegn, she isn't north american or british (majority of the music they play) and english isn't her first language so they don't want her on the radio

there is no release date yet but its going to get a release here soon to coincide wit the B'Day re-release next month i think there is a chance, if it does really well in the US....radio 1 may be influenced by that plus the fact its a associated with beyonce (who has a history of being A listed a few times in the past) this may help fight the anti shakira feeling at radio 1, so i think yes it will but only B listed at best

we all know radio 1s reluctance to play shakira songs even when HDL reached #1 they were stubborn and didn't playlist it, in fact they haven't playlisted any of her last few releases what are BL chances of being playlisted? good chances?

shakira's profile will go up, the more hits she has in the UK the more people see she is here to stay and is in the big league can get #1s but let see if BL can do it i see boosting of LS and OF2 (£6.99 hmv) maybe even FO1 cause it is retailing for £3.99 in hmv

i love this song and the production with the beat, the flamenco hand claps, the trumpets and arabian instruments, the best part is the dance break when the beat drops at 2:36 then shakira and beyonce start to belly dance...chills!! :wub:
