simple sounding track, i think the lyrics are its main focus and strong point. i need to hear the full version its probably a grower but from what i heard so far WBT seems superior and a better rounded track.

interesting. he has lost it  there are certain things you don't mess with and you know who's you know what is one of them!!!!! blanche trying to pull a fast one on liz and vern  "my roof needs fixing" also jessica fletcher almost got close to busting tina's ass. come on audrey don't take any c**p from them!! bust their asses!!

nice find! thats the good thing about buying promo stuff you get promo sheets with info. thats interesting, i always thought the UK divison of sony have no idea how to promote shakira here and now we have proof!! they don't get her and thats very worrying considering they are responsible for her here. her music doesn't fit into a certain type of sound and they don't know who to target but her appeal is broad, i can't believe they tried to pass her off as urban  objection is not urban in a any way shape or form. amazing 9 million at that stage! shakira was a big deal worldwide in 2002/2003, she really broke through and became A list international artist. the last update we had was right at the end of the LS era and the album had reached 13 million but thats out of date. the album was then cut in price and started to chart again in the fixation era so she could have even more sales. i haven't heard about LS selling 1 million in the UK. i think its more like 500-600k we should get official figures from sony in the next era.

me know  did you just hear gail say "just what the doctor ordered" about david looking after her? its official she has lot her mind  not just her memory, she forgot all the stress he did to her. oh boy he is so screwed when her you know what comes back ;)
  5. i think its going to work out well, everyone will get their number #1s on billboard, all the major lead singles so far: usher, now leona, next mariah and then madonna. its all fair and square no one is getting denied, mariah has it in the bag next week. at #1 on itunes holding madonna off, if anything madonna may take longer than planned cause leona has momentum and mariah should boost giving her strong legs thanks to the crucial oprah and AI appearances plus more tv promo. elvis's record will be broken!! its been so well planned for TMB....the timing on itunes the promotion, its misson accomplished!! this era is going to plan, now focus will switch to get a number #1 album and 2nd release at #1 too.

its really good, very different to TMB and migrate, i hear the make it happen comparison too its a 90s r'n'b meets disco type summery track. i can see this getting a great urban remix, it will work so well too!! so far so good 3 very different tracks can't wait to hear bye bye
  7. come on mariah all the way to billboard #1!!

pretty decent promo, its not exactly blanket like UK based acts but the good thing about mariah is that she accessable when she does promo, she bothers to go to tv studios she even done gmtv too in past. this diva doesn't mind getting up early!! i would love to see her on loose women  mariah has got a good friendly personality i just wish the UK would get to see that more than the usual "diva" & "crazy" tag the media keep labeling her.
  9. her curves are amazing, this is the best she has looked in years

like a few have said, this is a very unmadonna track for madonna to come back with. she doesn't dominate like she usually does with her big singles. its all about timbaland's energetic groove. justin has the better singing parts and suits the production better you associate his sound with timbaland. strangely madonna doesn't even sing the title "4 minutes". on paper this = HUGE worldwide number #1. warners are definately courting the US radio and market. i can see why she is leaving her record company to get more control cause madonna didn't want this as a lead single this collabo seems forced and too calculating on their part.
  11. what is happening to madonna?? another shock she is falling already, she seriously needs promo to support the track. she got hype but thats not enough she is struggling, go on gmtv and loose woman madge.
  12. i agree with the majority too "headlines" spice girls....its dull, uninspired, syrupy generic bland pop like a naff b side from the 90s and rightly so it flopped and will never be played on radio again. i also didn't like "2 hearts" not kylie's style at all.

i know! he is so devious but don't worry jessica fletcher is on the case! bust him audrey!!! :cheer:
  14. duffy for both, i think she has wider appeal, that retro singing voice and style is appealing to the wider public like older people that like 60s singers like lulu and dusty springfield. duffy is distinctive and has got the adult market buying not just the younger market. just look at her amazing single and album sales already.
  15. it sounds like a number #1 song to me, with the combined fanbases of madonna, justin and timbaland this song "should" be an easy #1 but a certain uk girl and us rapper is taking this all star collabo on.

yes its terrible, its too dark, she's too far away and the font and colours are awful. the white feather thing is a distraction and the expression isn't good either. i think thats it! everything else is ok ^_^ what been happening lately with terrible amateurish covers ie blackout, hard candy and now this.
  17. mariah can struggle in the UK, the media is quite negative about her she isn't loved by the press or radio like say kylie. so she will need to do decent promo to support the track and the good news is she is coming here to do just that. predicting the successs of TMB in the UK will be tough, i have no idea how this will go. but in the US its clear it was going to be a big hit for her.
  18. radio 1 need to get on the case, this is another good track from her

i like it but then i like timbaland's production. it doesn't feel like or sounds like a madonna song. its more like a timbland track with justin and madonna. its a risk coming back with a collobo heavy track cause it seems you have to rely on others to get a hit. i read madonna wanted "candy store" with just her as the lead single not this but warner had the final say. you can imagine nelly or gwen making a song like this, its not distinctive to madonna. its timbaland style 100%. this track would have been so good if britney was with justin, it would have suited her voice better and would have been a more exciting combination.
  20. she did really well with ryan and perez so i think she'll be a ok, i just hope she understands alan

she is funny and likeable when she is being interviewed making jokes and suddenly bursting into song  and saying random stuff. it was interesting hearing about her single choices. i'd go for an uptempo jam for 2nd single and ballad for 3rd but both will be coming so its all good
  22. perfecto posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
madonna could have 2 versions released, radio version and a remix to boost it

i bet on madonna. duffy is going to go under 40k, buyers have the album to switch to too so the path is clear for madonna she should clear 40k. its a strong track (timbaland + justin buyers) plus the hype.
  24. great track she has a really great retro type voice with a lot of character that suits the music perfectly but its still contemporary
