Yeah Amazon downloads count for the Uk chart as do the Cd's! Its maybe just Amazon doesnt have a large share of the market and so dont have much effect on the chart.

How has this done in other countries? I seen it was 27 the other day on Germany iTunes!

October sees the 10th anniversary of the release of Melanie’s debut solo album 'Northern Star’ and to celebrate we’ve got the NS:10 month of prize giveaways and exclusive signed items for you to get your hands on. Starting on September 28th, we’ll be having a week long auction for charity of some limited edition poster prints. These A3 posters, produced solely for this special anniversary, feature the album artwork and each of the 12 in the lot have been individually signed by Melanie with a section of handwritten lyrics to each of the 12 tracks on ‘Northern Star’. Week 2, it’s time for you to get creative with our ‘Be A Northern Star’ competition. She is due to start rehearsals next month and will make her debut performance on October 26th.
