  1. Such a fun video! It looks like they had a blast shooting this, and it looks SO good!

Would probably be my bottom 3 as well, with Better Life at the bottom.

Holy shit, that was stunning! And Pink's solo performance was genius as well!

Holy SHIT I can't believe this is finally happening!
  5. I think one point we're all missing is that she has always (bar the CTMH era) appealed to a young and old(er) public. Teens love her, but plenty of adults buy her records as well. She's never had that 'bubble gum pop' tag which has helped her appeal to a more mature crowd as well.

That was lovely  She is so likeable and plain hilarious!

I can't seem to find any video's of this performance! Does anyone have link to HQ they want to share?

  11. That performance of What About Us was quite something - she emotes the meaning and message in the song so well, and sounds superb!

Sounds quite good on first listen! Some growers, but some instant tracks as well. It feels quite coherent, which is a good thing!
  13. The King Is Dead or I'm Not Dead ftw please

    Glitter in the air

Fabulous performances! She is SO in form!
  16. Agreed! Tilda shouldn't have won, but a nom was so deserved for that devastating perfomance
  17. The performance that Cotillard gave is probably one of the best of all time, so it's a good thing she won! Her performance is really quite something. The confidence she oozes, the big emotional scenes and the subtle ones are all splendid as well!
  18. Tilda Swinton was ROBBED of a nomination that year, just saying. Deserving winner though!
  19. This was such a strong year! I would have picked Kristin Scott Thomas over Melissa Leo though, as her performance was so harrowing and one of my favourites that year. I agree with Josh that Sally Hawkins was deserving, her performance in Happy Go Lucky! is so heartwearming and emotionally charged at the same time - probably one of my favourite characters in the last decade! I'm a HUGE Winslet fan and she SHOULD have already won the Oscar for Little Children and Eternal Sunshine as she even more MIND BLOWING in those, even though Helen Mirren and Hillary Swank were very deserving in both years. I adore the perfomances Hathaway and Streep gave that year, they were close runners up for me. I actually would have prefered Winslet to win for Revolutionary Road in this category and win for The Reader in the supporting category, to repeat the Globes
  20. There was only one really deserving of that award that year, and that was Daniel Day-Lewis. End of discussion. All kidding aside, I do think he was by far the strongest that year and gave a mind blowing performance! He really was terrifying!
  21. The VMA's mean shit, but still great news in this case as her video's are SO good!
  22. Totally into this on first listen. Sounds like something that could do really well in the charts and stick around for a while as well! I was hoping for something a bit edgier, but this is a great track, love the lyrics and melody!
  23. BRING IT. This is totally going to be another underdog anthem!
  24. Dear Lord.
  25. I was (and still am) so shocked about this news. What a loss... My thoughts go out to his friends and family - especially his children. RIP
