  1. I am seeing her this thursday, and your review has got me SO hyped Regina! Can't wait! I can't believe it's been 12 years since I saw her live for the first time!

It's All Your Fault, The Great Escape, Heartbreaker and OBVIOUSLY I'm Not Dead. I think these four songs sum up what Pink does best, from painful and emotional ballads to mid-tempo pop perfection and rocking out as well as writing outstanding lyrics.
  3. This woman was LIFE back in the 90s  Her first three albums were outstanding! You Oughta Know remains my fave!

This was so difficult to watch. Excellent film though, great directing and acting. It really showed the horrors of Auschwitz. I happen to have visited Auschwitz past week, and as I saw this film a few months back it really gave me a better idea of the horrors of the Holocaust.

Love the new feature Laura! The first one was a nice read :) I'm off to Krakau this evening so I won't be around the next five days!

  8. Awesome! I hope she goes for the 'Alice' themed staging etc., could be quite spectacular with the right visuals.

Heartbreaker really is one of her best  Having said that, I really enjoy Just Like Fire so far! It really reminds me of a song or two, but I can't figure out which yet

Let Me Let You Know Private Show Where Did The Beat Go? My Signature Move True Love One Foot Wrong Do What U Do Get the party started - I'm so glad this isn't regarded as her signature track anymore. This didn't age well at all. It's a shame that she has such fantastic b-sides but chose some of the above (and others) on albums instead. I don't hate these songs, they're either not my cup of tea or aren't songs I would want to hear from her.

It's all a matter of taste. I adore both P!nk and Adele, mostly for different reasons. There is no way to compare them and there really is no need, as stated by others.

You tell ´em! I´m Not Dead is such an amazing track. Still gets me everytime I listen to it, 10 years on.

I love Dave Meyers' work with Pink! Bring it!
  14. Jennifer Lawrence in SLP was one of the most underwhelming winning performances EVER imo. Emmanuelle Riva should have bagged it, she gave such a moving performance in Amour!
  15. You beat me to this comment. Anyone not voting for her obviously hasn´t seen La Vie en Rose. Spectacular performances, one of the best of all time.

Excellent season! Kept me interested and shocked throughout. All of the actors are outstanding and they never cease to amaze me.
  17. I actually agree on most winners from that year, even though Kate Winslet should have been nominated and won in best leading and supporting that year (Revolutionary Road being the leading performance, obviously).

Oh GOD, this album is life. I was always a Pink fan, but this got me adoring this woman more than anything! Still by far her best album

Lovely review Regina  Love Her, absolutely one of my fave films that year.
  20. She was nominated for Doubt though :P
  21. Oh COME ON. The song isn't that good and the performance was nothing without the final 30 seconds or so. I'm not saying Sam Smith should have won, but Gaga didn't deserve it either. Absolute horrible category this year.
  22. Sober out so soon?! I can't possibly take this seriously anymore now can I?
  23. I will be staying up for this! The show always turns out to be a letdown though, so here´s to hoping it´s better than previous few years. It looks like The Revenant will win Best Picture, and I really really really hope it doesn´t. Apart that it was visually stunning, it did next to nothing for me. In a perfect world, Mad Max wins BP, but I actually have a bit of hope for Spotlight to win as well. Best Director is quite unpredictable as well. As The Big Short has been gaining momentum over te past month, it could go to McKay (and it could even win BP). Ignarittu could do it again and win, but I actually think the Academy will award Miller for Mad Max, being a veteran and all (and the vote won't be split bij Ridley Scott). I'm not expecting too much surprises elsewhere though. Actor will go to Leonardo Dicaprio, Actress to Brie Larson, and the supporting categories will go to Vikander and Stallone (even though Mark Rylance could be a surprise winner here). I might post a full predicition later!
  24. That was such a moving performance! This is what Kelly does best
  25. That Walk Away and Sober have gotten multiple votes is the worst thing is history of music tbh
