  1. So glad you're managing to get there Meg. Try not to think about all the things that could go wrong or you won't enjoy the day. When we went to see Carmen there was so much that could have gone wrong, but it all went off like clockwork in the end. Sue
  2. Meg, do you think the interactive seat plan for The Opera House, Manchester is up to date because it never changes? I can't believe nobody is booking a seat! Do you think they will cancel if it doesn't improve in the next week or so? Sue
  3. Much better interview than I expected. At least it got publicity for the show. Wonder if Michael Buble appearing in Manchester this week is affecting the sale of the tickets for The Big Band Show? Perhaps people who enjoy swing music have already spent their money. Sue
  4. Not yet. She has a 'late lunch' discussion with local guests till 3 0'clock. Sue

No just speaking from experience! Sue
  7. Just heard he's supposed to be on The Becky Want Show this afternoon, 2-5 pm, 95.1 FM. Her introduction for him coming on the show later was 'Darius Campbell- God loves a trier and now he's tried everything!' Doesn't bode well for her interview.
  8. Thanks Preston, sorry you've had so much trouble. I would love to listen to that. Sue
  9. Just had an email from The Opera House showing what's on for the month of October and Darius is advertised on there with a link to buy tickets. Have clicked on it Meg and hardly any seats have been sold at all!! :( Sue
  10. Darius mentions the Manchester date on his facebook page now and asks who's going? Someone also mentions that he's appearing on Clyde1 with George and Suzie tomorrow morning? Sue

Darius mentions it on his facebook page now. Sue
  12. I wonder if Friday night is putting people off? Some of the ones I've spoken to are keen on that type of music, but don't want to travel into town on a Friday night. Parking isn't as easy for The Opera house as it is for The Palace Theatre either. Apart from walking up and down the streets in a placard I don't know what else to do. Sue

Didn't hear anything on the local sports news. Sue
  15. Any improvement on ticket sales for Manchester Meg? Wish he would re schedule an interview on Manchester Radio. Heard husband saying what a good show it was to some of our friends this afternoon!! Sue

The rain was so heavy this morning that we were given a severe weather warning. It just poured down until mid afternoon. :( Sue
  18. That's it exactly Baytree. He becomes completely absorbed in each new thing that takes his interest. Sue
  19. Sorry Gilly, have just checked the tickets and it's the end of row K, 24 and 25. I think row J was Buxton. Senior moment. Sue

In our area, Bolton, they are reducing the educational physiologists from 10 down to 4!!! Sue

At the moment they are trying to get estimates on everything that needs doing, and then they will try to negotiate on the price. In Paula's department (educational physiologists), it looks like they will all have to re-apply for the remaining positions, but that won't happen until next January probably, so it's going to be a worry for some time. Daughter may lose her job in the cut backs in children services in the area where she works and son's survey has come back on the house he wants to buy and it's awful, big jobs needed from top to bottom, and it's been wet and miserable all day! :( Sue
