Just heard on Real Radio that Meatloaf is about to release a new CD and is having a special invitation only launch party soon. More details tomorrow apparently.

It was fantastic to see him again. Last time I saw him was the night before my Dad's funeral almost 3 years ago :( I'd forgotten just how taaalll he is.

I saw Cyrus a couple of times. Yes, the version of Colourblind was "interesting" with the beatbox effect.

Yes they did :) Pity they still haven't got any of the film or photos online yet. Lol, some of my photos are X rated, though not the Darius ones. He was a gentleman, as always. He sang Non Piu Andrai, Devil in You and Colourblind. I have video of all 3, but sound quality is as expected at an event that Colin and Justin described as "A hen night on steroids" I'll get them uploaded at some point during the weekend. Today has been unbelievably busy and I only have an hour to check email etc, get changed and go out again.

Far too tired to do anything tonight. Darius was fantastic, as expected. He got the biggest cheers of the night. I have videos and photos to put on the website, but not at this time of the morning. I'll try to get them done by tomorrow night.

Let's hope it's a good omen all round. Scotland's football record in recent years hasn't been great, so hopefully Darius has brought them some better luck. Certainly a very good start for Craig Levein as Scotland's new manager.

What age is your cousin? This show is over 14s only, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Darius will be on around 9, I was told, but this may change before Friday.

Have you got tickets yet? There are very few left. We have been promised Darius in boiler suit. Could it be like Robin's one today?... painted on :) I've been looking on the website and they've not appeared yet so I'd better let you know what I've been up to. The display stands for Colourblind and Dive In have been sitting in my livingroom for 8 years. I couldn't bring myself to throw them out, but wanted the corner back. When I heard that Darius was to be at Mr Real Boilersuit on Friday I hatched a plan. After several emails, calls and visits, the stands are now with Real Radio. Darius will autograph them on Friday. I thought they were going to be auctioned online before Bring a Pound to Work Day (Thursday 4th), but maybe they'll just be available on Thursday. The producer originally planned to phone me on air on Thursday morning, but weather chaos put paid to that. Same happened on Friday morning. but Monday morning was to be explanation time. However, he phoned when I was just out of the shower. In fact the trailer that said they'd be talking to a big Darius fan "next" went out while I was still under the shower. I got out very quickly, as you can imagine. I'm glad it was only a phone call as I was talking to Robin and Cat whilst sitting on my bed wearing only my dressing gown!!! The things I do for Darius :)

Sorry I'm being so cryptic. Until I get confirmation I don't want to say anything else but it is a step further forward today and may well be on there before I get a chance to come here and report tomorrow :) :cheer:

But as many of the final 12 tie their boiler suits round the waist, or at least leave it unfastened , it might just be ideal :)

He's singing 2 songs, whilst wearing his kilt, unless he can be persuaded into a boiler suit. Maybe best to read what it says on the Real Radio website. I may be able to give more information by Monday. It's a fundraising event in aid of CHAS and there will be 2 very special items auctioned. They may be online rather than on the night. I won't know until Monday :dance:

He's at Hampden on Wednesday and Glasgow Garage on Friday so could well be the second half of the week.

That's what I thought too, Pam We could have a double A side. 1 of the tracks he has already recorded for the 3rd album, and 1 from pstos. In fact we could have Impossible Dream from last Friday, it's definitely good enough quality, and something he has already recorded. It could be released for download this weekend :) Darius for N01 next Sunday!!!!!

If not an album, then a single release at least.
