Number One Entry
I've posted this last week but it's worth doing it again! This is just so good! The atmosphere is haunting and the progression is weirdly intriguing. I hope they will release a video on this masterpiece soon!
Highest New Entry
This is probably the highest new entry with the least number of views :kink: The 2 views are probably mine because I clicked it and listened to the song. It is exceptionally beautiful and fits the song name and artist name well with the instrumentation. I hope more people will take notice of this song and give this a warm reception!
Highest Jump
This orchestral piece is mind-blowing :o Hania Rani once again slaying in her piano but the arrangement with the cello adds a lot of flavour to this masterpiece. I am amazed by this video as well. The atmosphere is chilling but it builds to a big climax.
One to Watch
Nothing gets more chaotic than this. The instrumentation and the vocals define the song and the song title. It is noise but organised noise and draws out your emotions too. Great way to express your inner anger :P

Chart commentary: There are 17 new entries this week in yet another busy week with 87 songs lined up for 2nd listen. Highest new entry goes to Everything Is More Beautiful in the Dark, which is a deeply beautiful piece and one that might actually do very well in the next few weeks. Then, Heal Me 2.0 Now I See follows right after the highest new entry with extraordinary and emotional soundscape. Moving below we have Charles going for quite a different style than she usually does with ballads. Then, the series that includes Zmierzch has another song in the top 50 which is Imperium, and it is moving! Wrapping up the chart are a few great-sounding pop songs.
Jerusalem reached no. 1 for its second week. It is the second longest song to be crowned no. 1 this week, duration of a whopping 7 minutes! Top 10 only saw 2 changes, with Diving by Evangelia and Kelvin Jones coming in and the chaotic Slave of Chaos. Highest jump is just a mere 11 positions coming from Dunkel, an orchestral piece that includes Hania Rani, who had a few songs charted in the top 50 before.

Hi john! I quite enjoy the new Maisie Peters album and some songs are relatable. I would be absolutely shocked and pleased if the artists do some shoutout :P I'm glad I discovered some of the songs here as a lot of them went unnoticed and sound pretty sophisticated and amazing <3

I genuinely don’t know where to begin, as I am just not familiar with these songs, but it’s nice to see something different and hopefully there are some hidden gems here to be discovered from a future BJSC too! ;)

I'll never understand Buzzjack's YouTube link bugs, when I opened this page under the 'Number One Entry' it had the video for 'Divine Sorrow' by Wyclef (with the rest moved one Youtube tag down) and I got very confused for a second :lol: I'm actually listening to your #1 now, another strange one but weirdly catchy! She certainly enjoys a good rhyme or two :lol:Interesting... that didn't happen to me on my laptop. dashery is a highly sophisticated track but you are right about it being really catchy. The instrumentation and chord progression gives this uneasy feeling and is definitely very different to what we usually hear nowadays. Thanks Pete!

Of all debuts, I definitely know Burning Bridges and Battlefield. Great follow up by Sigrid, probably better than Mirror on the first listen. While Battlefield is my least favorite Ryos single this year, not really on the same level as Fool's Gold, and Midsummer Nights.
Good to see Apashe on the top 3 as well ^_^
Hi Ken! Agree on Burning Bridges sounding better than Mirror here. It is more catchy and the arrangement is defo a lot more interesting. Battlefield has a nice drop so maybe it could grow on me ^_^ I'm totally mad about Never Change right now. Let's see if he will represent Belgium in Eurovision 2022! :P
