    A track about Lois Lane! It's about time - I charted a pop star called Lois Lane back in 1975-ish cos I liked her name (being a Superman comics fan) though it was a good cover of River Deep Mountain High anyway. :lol:

     

    Good to see Astraea enter from BJSC, SYML climbing (It so reminds me of Hallelujah that one), Walk Off The Earth back again with another newie :)

    Hi john! Nice backstory about Lois! It might take a moment for me to warm up with this song but Scott Helman is a decent singer! Astraea I think did try to enter with this song some weeks ago but I think I rejected it. It has such a memorable chorus that actually makes the cut this time! Nice to hear that you like SYML and Walk Off The Earth as well!

    This is a fun format for your chart! Shame Diandra didn't qualify in BJSC, Koti really grew on me and is quite a lovely ballad. There's quite a few names I'm familiar with but haven't heard these particular songs just yet. Will have to check out Petra Markland, Eivor, Noga Erez, Vera Blue, Ashe and Ella Eyre!

    Hi Klumzee! Thanks for the compliment! I'm very saddened to hear about Koti not qualifying tbf because it was such a lovely song, but hopefully next edition a banger would help! Definitely check out Petra's new song! Eivor's song is very solemn but great ballad. Noga went for a Billie Eilish style. Vera Blue quite pop. Ashe's pretty great ballad, and of course Ella Eyre with a solid banger!

    Hi AH Gold! Vera Blue is not a bad shout but the song might take some time to warm up. Royal & The Serpent seems to be a very strong entry for BJSC 127 indeed. I'm happy it qualified! Sad to hear about Diandra but at least I know someone loving her song! Such a lovely song and does remind me of Husavik a bit if the song does represent Finland in Eurovision. James Bay and Conan Gray are both popular choices and glad they got the mainstream attention!

    Hi Ansel! Love to see the entry of Bella D'Estate. I think this is a really interesting collab between MIKA and Michele Bravi and it works to a certain extent. rue is probably the strongest girl in red song I've ever heard so far, so hopefully this song will rise further up in both your chart and mine!
