iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 10th November 2013
I'm surprised Celine's new song is #9 on the iTunes chart, especially since her performance on The X Factor was underwhelming. And I didn't think she was that much of a digital seller.

Well basically to end it, I began saying that supermarkets aren't stocking the new Avril CD, and I said that is the reason for the album not being higher, and then i'm being called idiotic for having an opinion. I'm not gonna bother talking about it anymore since certain users have a problem with me having an opinion.

^I'm not the one calling people idiotic. Don't make out i'm the one being rude.

I can't believe how rude people are on here! I used to like this forum, but not anymore, there's way too many bitchy people on here!

^How do you know it's sold half physically? That's probably from people buying the CD online. A lot of people online have had the same problem as me so it's obvious there's been problems across the country with getting the CD in stores.

There's no need to be rude!! I'm frustrated that stores don't have the CD and then people are saying Flop.

Avril's album is #8 in the Digital Albums chart (well technically #6 as there are 2 compilations above her), so it's really frustrating that if the record company had bothered to stock the album in stores then it would have comfortably been in the top 10.

You say 10 other high profile releases, but other than James Arthur and Eminem, I wouldn't call any of the other albums 'high' profile releases. And that's not the reason why they haven't got it, there's obviously been a problem.

Sunday Chart Predictions
You say flop, but the album is not available in ANY supermarket! The record company are at fault for that problem! I've been to all 4 major supermarkets and none have the CD or seem to know why they don't have it. Has anyone managed to buy it this week in any stores?

Thanks for the update on Cher's album, any idea on the chart position of her single I Hope You Find It as well?

Sunday Chart Predictions
Any chance Cher's album has moved up? As well, Avril's doing very well, considering Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys aren't stocking the CD. Has anyone actually managed to buy the CD in any stores?

Sunday Chart Predictions
The reason why Avrils album is doing badly is because shops aren't stocking the CD. Has anyone else had any trouble getting the CD?

Is Cher in the top 20 with her album?

Sunday Chart Predictions
Shane #4, how? I'm really gutted that Avril is #8, it's annoying since it's #4 on iTunes, but obviously there's problems with getting the CD in stores.

But with Avril's album, there's none in my local Tescos, and others have complained about there being none in Asda as well! I can't believe they haven't had any! I don't understand what's going on? This is seriously gonna affect her sales now!

Any idea where Cher is in the albums chart?

Happy that Cher stayed at #4! And as well, Cher never really had a lot of album success over here until the 1980s. She had more album success in the US.

It would be great to have a sales indicator of how well the top 5 albums are selling.

Oh, I knew Paul McCartney would overtake Cher but was hoping it wouldn't happen. She should stay at #4, especially since she's on BBC Radio 2 from 2pm with Steve Wright.
