RBS....
You are quite right of course, and I appologise profusely for the one liner. I promise in future that my criticisms will be at least a full paragraph. As you know I am normally a very laid back sort of guy,and I don't normally indulge in forum rants, and it takes a lot to rile me, but sometimes you can't just shrug your shoulders and ignore inane comments and frustrations of certain individuals (no names). Sometimes there are none so blind as those that cannot see, and some comments are a red flag to a bull. So I will give myself a severe warning, and will give myself a self imposed ban for at least 10 minutes.

mike read bankrupt ....
He was never my favourite Radio 1 DJ, and anyone who owes that much tax must have the earnings that relate to that tax bill. So if he spends all his money without putting away an amount to cover his tax liability, then he's a silly bugger really. I read he has been dogged with money problems for a while, maybe if he hadn't bought all those albums he might have more cash left over to pay his tax bill. That's assuming he bought all the albums and they weren't freebies from the Beeb. :) Having said that it is some collection.

Christopher Eccleston to play John Lennon in BBC4 drama
The former Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston is to play John Lennon in a new BBC4 drama. Called Lennon Naked, the one-off 90-minute film covers Lennon's life from 1967 to 1971. It features the effect on Lennon of the death of the Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein, and the impact of re-establishing contact with his long lost father Freddie. Lennon Naked also covers the break-up of his marriage to Cynthia Lennon and meeting Yoko Ono. Ono is played by Naoko Mori, of Torchwood and Absolutely Fabulous, and Epstein by Rory Kinnear. Other cast members includethe Cranford actor Claudie Blakley as Cynthia Lennon and Andrew Scott as Paul McCartney. The BBC's controller of drama commissioning, Ben Stephenson, said: "Securing Christopher Eccleston to play John Lennon is further testament to the calibre of drama on BBC4. The 'Women We Loved' season currently on air is attracting record audiences and the channel is steadily building a reputation for portraying some of this country's best-loved icons." Richard Klein, controller of BBC4, said : "BBC4 is the place where dramas look to explore that space between artists' public works and private lives, shedding light on the artistic process while offering intelligent entertainment." Lennon Naked was written by Robert Jones, the co-creator of Party Aninals. It is currently being filmed in London by the independent producer Blast! Films and will air next year. The director and co-producer is Edmund Coulthard, whose credits include Soundproof; Katherine Lannon, who worked on BBC4's The Secret Life of Mrs Beeton, is co-producer. Paul McCartney to appear on X-Factor Final
The only winner from this will be Simon Cowell, he must be rubbing his hands with glee. He will see it as some kind of rubber stamping it as the best entertainment show on tv. Very bad move, I would prefer it if he worked with those bloody frogs again rather than this.
