  1. No wonder so many artists are leaving EMI, they couldn't organise a sing song in a recording studio.
  2. Sounds interesting, I must admit I have hardly any of Paul's albums apart from Band on the run(vinyl), Venus & Mars(vinyl), Wings over America(vinyl), Memory almost full, and a few greatest hits compilations. So I might buy a few to fill in the gaps.

  22. A sheet of paper of John Lennon's hand-written song lyrics is expected to sell for as much as $700,000 (£450,000). The double-sided sheet features Lennon's lyrics to the Beatles song 'A Day in the Life'. It also contains other notes penned in red ink, reports BBC. 'A Day in the Life' is the final track on the Beatles' 1967 album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It has been said that the sheet could break the record for Beatles lyrics, set by 'All You Need Is Love', which was sold for $1m (£600,000) in 2005. Source: Digital Spy
