I don't really think we can talk about the production until we can listen to HQ versions, I have Telescope in HQ because it was available in my country, not anymore though because iTunes got it wrong and they uploaded the same EP from the UK when they only wanted to upload Call My Name and one remix. Anyway, my point was that Telescope sounds bad in that clip but the song in HQ sounds really great.

Do they mean something? it was said to death by everybody how the Call My Name lyrics didn't have any meaning and that it seemed Calvin just put them there to fit the music. Why is someone going to be surprised by the confirmation of it? Do you listen to Girls Aloud songs though? she has always been the second one with more lines and solo bits... more than Sarah, Nicola and Kimberley from Sound Of The Undergroud to Tangled Up and more than Nadine, Nicola and Kimberley in Out Of Control.

If that was the case all the bad performances from X Factor would boost a lot of the songs performed on the show when it's actually the opposite, only the good performances affect the charts. I think it has more to do with being Gary and Cheryl singing it and because a lot of people don't really care about a song not being perfectly sung as long as the CD version sounds good... look at Katy Perry.

Cheryl would be the first in line? you really don't know her, do you? She sang live using a loud backing track, if you want to call that mime, do it, but then call it when Katy Perry, Rihanna and company do it too... or when JLO did it just two weeks ago, although she literally mimed, not backing track or anything. She did a tour in 2010 with the Peas, she didn't mime... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL her microphone was turned on when she finished her Promise This performance on X Factor, does that mean she sang live? that performance was mimed except a couple of lines, unlike The Voice one when she was singing over a loud backing track. Her people didn't make a massive deal, and she indeed sang live, if they use tricks as a massive backing track so you can't hear how shaky her voice was when she was jumping doesn't mean it was mimed. You just have to hear how every time she sang "name" it sounded "naaiieeiiim" because she couldn't control it and the backing track couldn't hide it. Big dance routine + loud backing track >>>>>>>>> standing behind a micro I enjoyed her "Set the fire to the third bar" performance, but I don't want that all the time, I'm not a fan of hers for that kind of performance... plus that song was great for Cheryl's vocal range.
