iTunes Chart: April 2011 (I)
I kind of agree with 152Chris, Cheryl wasn't as atracttive at the start of the band because she dressed as a boy, she was a total tomboy, although her face was as beautiful then as it's now Yeah, an incentive to buy the song again just because it has Kanye in it.

iTunes Chart: April 2011 (I)
How much has she sold? It's like Katy and Rihanna (except Loud has sold a lot in the UK, if I'm not wrong, the album has sold nearly the same in the UK and in the US ) are more single sellers than album sellers.

Digital Sales Data
There are songs charting outside the top 100 though, with 5 sales you aren't inside the top 100 on iTunes in the UK... The total sales don't seem accurate. Edit: For example, according to this site, Price Tag has sold in the UK around 380k digital sales (all versions included). The info we have is that Price Tag has sold 618k in the UK... 618k - 380k = 238k. I doubt Price Tag has sold the 40% of its sales in physical format + other download sites.

Cheryl - A Million Lights
So you aren't working at HMV anymore?

Cheryl - A Million Lights
I doubt this, so the deadline is in May and the album released in August? it doesn't make any sense. A re-release? maybe, a new album? doubt it.

How do you know that? the popbars have been like this for the past 40 minutes, I don't think they are updated yet.

Nicole has it in the bag. Adele is still #3 and the live version at #11

;) Really? is she the most hated artist in the UK, wow; here in Spain it's different. And yeah, I don't care about what other people think... I have enough self-confidence to know what I like and why I like it. I didn't know that word was originated from Eminem's song. I don't consider myself a stan of anyone (if anything, I'm a Barça stan, if there can be stans in football :P), I don't have any problem criticizing everything Cheryl does wrong, because it's quite a lot (musically, I'm no one to judge her personal life)

Eric_Blob, if everybody was like you this world would be a lot better. Anyway, we are completely off topic.

I know, I visited it once and never came back. Cheryl cried during every performance of I'll Stand By You during the Tangled Up tour, it wasn't the best time of her life though. Fortunately it was 3 years ago, if she cried now I'm sure it would be all over the papers and some people would say it was fake when it clearly wasn't. And by the things you say I see they are even worse with Cher on that stupid forum.

Thank you, I don't have a stream so I can't watch it...

Well, you've say it, it's Digital Spy, there is no forum worse than that one. --- Is anyone that performed on Comic Relief climbing?

What? promoting in other countries doesn't help sales in the UK, Shakira was different; it was the song of the World Cup. Cheryl was promoting Fight For This Love during the end of January, February, March and April around Europe and it didn't do anything for FFTL at the time, and the chart positions she achieved in Europe were really good: 10 top 5 and 3 top 10.

iTunes Chart: March 2011 (II)
Exactly, it's the record label... and the amount of money they are spending on Jessie J.

iTunes Chart: March 2011 (II)
Have I missed something? yes, it's a second single, but a second single released before the album... I don't know why people thought this wouldn't do well if she's done a lot of promotion.

 I thought Poison had sold 300k... lots of songs charting lower have sold a lot more.

Nicole has performed everywhere, Dancing on Ice, Let's dance for Comic Relief, Daybreak, Loose Woman... and she's A-Listed on Radio 1's playlist. And I don't even live in the UK...
-
iTunes Chart: March 2011 (II)
I agree with Karma, I don't think she has a big fanbase, even with all the promo she did when Poison was released the single didn't sell that much.
-
iTunes Chart: March 2011 (II)
Exactly, she did a lot of promo and it's a good and instant song. Perfect combination.
