  1. It would be quite funny to see Dappy get a hit in 2015

May even spark a 2011 renaissance - the era of the British rapper ;)

It looks like he could score a hit in 2015 with the song being up to #13 on itunes(still climbing) at the moment. I would love a top 10 hit for him even if its low top 10.

It’s finally here! After teasing the lyric video earlier this week, Jennifer Lopez has released her uplifting mid-tempo, ‘Feel The Light‘!

Written by Kiesza and produced by the Stargate, ‘Feel The Light’ shows Jennifer Lopez putting her maternal instincts front and center on this piano-led R&B track. Just picture J. Lo’s character comforting Rihanna’s character in ‘Home’ while this song is being played.

Ah, don’t you love when two pop divas come together? Now about that duet Jenny & RiRi…

  3. Not even remotely true! From True Blue onwards she had been getting critical praise, and Like a Prayer was hugely well received. To say she was not seen as credible before 98 is laughable.

"Like A Prayer" is "The" album that made the critics take her seriousuly and showed she was here to stay. Prior to that she was seen as disposable pop star with very little talent. Cyndi lauper was more respected than her from the get go.

And after the "Erotica" era and the "Sex" book backlash she was back to being an even bigger joke again until her big Comeback with "Ray Of Light"

Avicii, Wyclef Jean, Carlos Santana team up for World Cup closing anthem

Pitbull, J.Lo, and Pitbull’s blindingly white clamdiggers kicked off the World Cup two weeks ago with a rousing, bare-ankled performance of “Ole Ola,” the Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Song. Two weeks from now, when the tournament comes to an end on July 13, the closing ceremonies will feature a performance of the the Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Anthem (which is a totally different thing).

“Dar Um Jeito (We Will Find A Way),” which has a new video that just dropped today, features Wyclef Jean, EDM demigod Avicii, and Carlos Santana, a superstar trio that could have been put together by a random poolside encounter at a celebrities-only, six-star resort on a Caribbean island known only to the mega-wealthy.

Despite the seemingly random lineup and the generally beyond-corny nature of this kind of project, however, the song’s actually not terrible, apart from Santana’s superfluous noodling. Eschewing the treacly sentimentality of R. Kelly’s 2010 World Cup official anthem, “Sign of a Victory,” “Dar Um Jeito (We Will Find A Way)” aims for bleacher-rattling energy, crossing football chants with the type of frenetic percussion the Cup’s host country is famous for.

“Dar Um Jeito (We Will Find A Way)” is available now on One Love, One Rhythm: The Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Album. Watch the video below.

"Bailando" is a song by Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias for his tenth studio album Sex and Love (2014). The Spanish version features the Cuban group Gente de Zona and Cuban singer Descemer Bueno, while the Spanglish version features Jamaican singer Sean Paul.

I reckon this should be his 2nd consecutive top 10 hit on the uk whenever its released over here & he goes back to his latino pop roots of the late 90's.

I remember People would go around starting "go go go" and others would immediately pick up and continue "ale ale ale". So my vote goes for Ricky and rickys song was actually the first world cup song that was a non-power ballad which broke the usual tradition and it was the first EVER world cup song i ever knew.

I remember kids who didn't even know english or spanish went around and sang Go Go Go Ale Ale Ale....now thats an amazing IMPACT.
