I suppose I wasn’t considering the lyrical content. I actually liked how honest some of the last album was. It helped me anyway. I think it’s his best album because it was so personal and sonically it was different for him. There’s an element of an artist dismissing something that you liked and I think it bothers people.

I feel like it was underwhelming but only because they set the standard so high for themselves. It was an amazing performance by anyone else’s standards but it was just an ok Little Mix performance.

I think Take Your Love sounds like the last album. I don’t know why he’s throwing the last album under the bus only to release a song that easily could’ve been on it. I love it though and I hope there’s more like that on the album.

I really hope this album isn’t immature. They’re all in their 30’s and it doesn’t need to sound exactly like their first two albums. I loved Night Driver and wanted more of that sound but if there’s a few Easy style tracks on there I’ll be happy enough. I love What Happened To Your Band so I don’t mind it being on there. The “where’d you go, I’ve been lost without you” part is so good. I just hope they tone down how loud the and angsty the chorus was on the McBusted version.
