If was going to be this cheap-ass and took not more than a few days, one wonders why she couldn't film one for HOTN as well.

DISCO ● album discussion
I don't know what it is, but I ADORE Real Groove! Both the original and the Dua version

Kiss Me Once ● album discussion
This was a try-hard album - trying to ape her own formula or others' and hence, wasn't successful. But a decade later, I still think "into the blue" is a lovely song with a very nice classy yet low budget video. I also loved the title track, "Feels so good" and B-side Sparks NOTHING ELSE

DISCO ● album discussion
I love a few songs from Disco and don't care about a few. But in a decade, something tells me I'll still be listening to songs like Real groove, miss a thing, etc. but don't know how many from Tension I'll be listening to.

This is shaping up to being a hit. Returning holidayers and partygoers need something to ease into September (the new January!)

Kylie's 2000 comeback
Same. SA, confide in me, Devil. ATL and Certain are my constant top 5. But they change positions within !

Kylie's 2000 comeback
My only issue with light years is that it’s a pleasant collection of pop songs but there wasn’t much mainstream single material other than the first 3 singles. Or maybe a 4th could’ve been the title track. I’m not saying there weren’t any bops on the album, just saying none (bar the first 3 singles) seemed strong enough to be singles.

Kylie's 2000 comeback
Best decision ever! To me - songs like OOANLT, Padam or Head are excellent pop songs that just happen to be sung by Kylie. But songs like SA, all the lovers and Confide are songs meant for Kylie and I can’t imagine anyone else singing it. SA was that best lead single to bring her back into Public attention as it reminded the world what we love Kylie for - effortless easy on the ear catchy pop wirh a sense of euphoria and gay abandon. In short - it’s got the Kylie DNA. I suspect it OANLT was the lead single, it may have changed the narrative to “Kylie is adopting a dark clubby euro sound image” Or something and the renaissance wouldn’t have gone so smoothly. Kudos to Parlo for the game plan - (re)intro K to the world with a sound she’s known best for and doesn’t antagonise anyone… and then work on the darker edgier sound for Fever.

What should have been the 5th single from 'Neon Nights'
Every song should have been a single. One of my most favourite and well aged albums of all time

Edge of Saturday Night ● The Blessed Madonna & Kylie
This is all coming together nicely. And right in time for the later part of summer I like the idea of a clubby Ibiza themed video. Low cost, and can give it a clubby edgy vibe as well. Now they just have to figure out how the promo and radio/social media campaigns will work.

Edge of Saturday Night ● The Blessed Madonna & Kylie
At this point in time, if I were Kylie or her team, just pick MOM or EOSN and promote the hell out of it - vinyls, appearances, whatever. All these random collabs are so confusing even for for fans to keep track or support/stream for chart benefits. Even worse when there are 2 in contention.

Edge of Saturday Night ● The Blessed Madonna & Kylie
It's a great dance track in the same vein as Speakerphone, Skirt, Butterfly, etc. but in the current version, it's so hardcore dance and less mainstream. I'd be surprised if ANY mainstream session playlisted this (aka, I'm not expecting this to do much on the chart or streams as it caters to a very limited audience). It also doesn't (as of now) have a viral element in it to make it explode on Tiktok. I love it btw.

This is the Kylie we needed. Don’t need no preacher-teacher …. We just want Kylie !

Tension ● album discussion
Assuming it is releasing end August, I'm surprised we STILL haven't gotten any official confirmation yet. This isn't a Dance Alone or some surprise collab that can just drop on streaming with a week's notice. An album re-release warrants good enough runway.

Kylie Features
I apologise for the negativity in advance but that Gloria Gay-KNORR duet is DREADFUL

Artists or producers you're surprised never collaborated
I like this list. Sorry, who's the last one you're referring to in duet By Calvin, I think you meant after the X and Aphrodite sessions?
-
Artists or producers you're surprised never collaborated
OH YES!! Esp as LAFS came around the same Modjo "Lady" and "filter disco"era that Daft Punk created

Wouldn't Change a Thing ● 35 Years
With "WCAT", Kylie became the first ever artist in UK charts to have her first 7 singles hit either #1 or #2. Amazing when you think of it!

Artists or producers you're surprised never collaborated
I was thinking about this over the weekend and would love to hear from others. This thread isn't a wishlist ("I wish Kylie had worked with _____") or a post-mortem on why it didn't happen, but just a list of "how come a collab never happened then or all these years" My list is: 1. Faithless 2. Take That 3. kind of related - Gary Barlow 4. Another PWL act besides Jason Donovan 5. Another Jason Donovan duet (in 1989, as both were HUGE and a duet would've meant another #1)

My Oh My ● Kylie x Bebe Rexha x Tove Lo ● 1st single
Agree. I will any day pick "10 out of 10" over this awful rub bish.
