I genuinely don't see the point of a Tension re-release when it pretty much lost steam right after the album release around October. I'd rather she focuses the current energy and good will on a brand new album.

This album just brings warm fuzz to my heart.

I don't think it makes financial sense. Whilst it's amazing that Kylie is able to win a Grammy and get a Vegas residency and all, she's still not that big here to warrant a special issue of an album that spent what...less than 4 weeks on the Hot 100?

Came on today on my Spotify and it still sounds amazing! Such a well produced compact song that just doesn’t stop the pace. And when it does, well it’s because it’s OVER!

Sooooo many memories come flooding back… Charlene , the Neighbours theme tune, Mrs Mangel, “Jason and Kylie - are they or aren’t they”, etc etc. I kind of knew one day Kylie would drive out of Ramsay St but it was also hard to bear a year later knowing I’ll never see her twice a day.

She can have all the passion and enthu around a new song...but if a song is mediocre lacklustre euro trash, no amount of passion and emotional investment can take it higher. Hope she closes this chapter and MOVES ON to a campaign with good songs.

It was only after I saw their chart history and spotify stats, I realised I had greatly overestimated their "reach" amongst the streaming audience. I'm all for Kylie at this stage doing things for fun (like she did the Sia duet) but if she or her record company were thinking of some kind of chart or commercial gain out of this, they could've at least chosen singers that has more pull.

Yes. At this point, as long as the record company has some kind of strategy in place in terms of album or singles, collabs, what's going on a re-release versus new album campaign, etc. Right now, it's all feeling very lost.

When the collab was first announced, I thought the same until I saw their rather less than glowing chart stats and streaming numbers. If she was going to do a collab wirh someone younger, she should’ve at least chosen a social media/radio supported artist. Even if it a Becky Hill or ella Henderson over these 2 may have increased streaming and radio exposure

Quite agree. I’m a bit surprised by all these half baked random collabs.

One of my most memorable albums ever. Charlene was EVERYWHERE in 1989, wasn't she?! This album solidified her legit entry as an honorary Brit - she was on all the UK talk shows, she had about 9-10 months of Neighbours (in the UK) left.... listening to this album overall takes me back to those amazing days. I'd play this and Jason's "10 good reasons" back to back.... SAW were peaking. Lovely times. As an album, I think it's dated better than the 1st. The first 3 singles, "over dreaming" and the title track are still favourites.

It's a catchy song but very disposable Euro trash.

I was always hoping that if she were going to duet, then it would be with somebody a bit more famous, and maybe someone who could get her a legit UK hit again (let’s face it - she can try all she wants for the US but it wont work). Bebe has had like less than 5-10 UK top hits and is hardly a force. Don’t even know about Tovelo’s UK chart history.

Awful combo. Kylie should have chosen someone else.
