Considering she’ll be busy prepping for and beginning Vegas soon, she may not have enough time to prep for Audience With. I’m just praying and hoping she doesn’t use the same set list for her F2 Leicester and O2 gigs for the Audience With as well. Especially given the UK knows the early stuff as well, I don’t know why she performed Loco - she could’ve done Lucky or HOYH from that era if needed.

Well, the thing is Neighbours (or, for that matter, H&A) are no longer the powerhouses they used to be. If she ever ever needed a backup, she’s better off judging a reality show or from a soap op Angle - starring in Corrie (that, despite being drab has at least kept up the ratings).

thanks. So jealous of you! :) My main gripe with the current campaign has been less focus on all her amazing things and achievements and focus on frivolous stuff like the ones I mentioned. And then carrying her own recording tools, etc. They don't even seem to talk about the album, every now and then she squeezes in the "Hold on to now is my favourite"

TOTALLY OT and I'm not trying to be mean or anything..... but I'm just constantly surprised that Lana sells so much even in this day and age. Does she have such a big ardent fan following? I didn't know Guts sold 60K...for some reason I thought she was 50K'ish. One thing I'm hearing about Tension is that the label hasn't discounted it. Good in a sense that the label is trying make money, but that probably cost her a few more 1000 sales. Week 2 will be interesting. I'm not keeping my hopes up that Audience With or Vegas show publicity will raise her sales in the UK come Nov/Dec, unless it came close on the release of the album like it did for Adele's last.

I can't wait. Hope she got enough screen time and hope they spoke more about Tension and her legacy and not the same old freakin "what does Padam mean" or Tiktok + Charlene.

The Neighbours one is baffling me - esp about "can you imagine what Charlene would've gotten up to on Tiktok". Same q was asked even on the Aussie promo from 2-3 days back. Leads me to believe that her PR team sets a set of questions per promo campaign so she can go into auto mode and spit out the responses without thinking. This promo campaign has been 1. tell us what rPadam really means 2. Tiktok 3. Neighbours and Charlene 4. "what would you tell the Kylie from 35 yrs ago?" 5. What can we expect from Vegas 6. Is it true that you do your own recording at hotels? On one hand, I'm glad they got rid of the other cliched questions, esp around her love for the gay community. But it's sad that for such a varied career of so many sounds and re-inventions, Kylie's PR team has them ask only this set of questions.

At this point, BMG is probably focusing on healthy 1st week sales for Tension unlike the chess game for Disco vs Confetti. Totally. I have nothing against her but I thought the current "in" artist with the #1 song in the country would have much more.

Regarding sales : I think a 40K amount is fantastic for a Monday update. However, why do I have the feeling that Tension will be even more front loaded than Disco? Also, and again I'm no expert but quite disappointed with the streaming. I thought she'd manage much more with all the publicity, her taking over spotifyUK for a day (whatever that meant), etc. etc.

So very true. Not like they’re selling 1 track per variant and you have to buy all 12! It’s like clothing - your favourite tee shirt is in 5 diff colours and you pick whichever one(s) you want. Also, it seems ok when some artists do it but gets called out and highlighted when some others do
