yay for PP in Aus. Totally off topic: I'm probably in the minority here but I'm like the only one who's hardly ever cared for her Oz chart positions (yes, fully aware it's her 2nd biggest market). Probably because Aus was so cold in the early PWL days, and even though Aussie love and respect for K started with Impossible Princess, and Parlo onwards, her albums have been mosly top 3'ish, I still find her Aus chart runs and general Aussie perception/reception of her a bit wishy washy (whereas in the UK, it just seems so much more consistent). To me, I don't even think of her as an Aussie, I always include her in my list of favourite British artists. (I consider Natalie Imbruglia and all very much still Aussie though, lol) I mostly (like 90%) care about the UK chart perf nd runs; and then EU.

It feels so strange having a Dannii song or album chart higher in Aus than in the UK!

With all the new competition, the only way I see PP going up is when some of the tracks in the top 7 reach ACR and vacate. OR - unless K has something up her sleeve like a surprise Glasto performance....but again, and as discussed in the PP chart tracker thread, I don't know if public promos or radio really makes that much of a diff anymore.

I agree. For BMG, PP has more than just overachieved so they're probably also saving some of the other tricks for future singles and of course, the album.

So at this point, what else magic needs to be done to get it more Streaming? Addition to more lists? I think she's got / getting all the radio support in the UK and it's not apparently making that much of a difference these days to an artist's chart position or doesn't influence streaming that much.

It’s been so nail biting but I do hope PP continues to climb on UK Spotify and this pause at 26 is just a short washroom break! . A top 5 UK hit would be so amazing!

I read somewhere that React is like "only 200" behind so it could still catch up. I'm still stumped how it suddenly stalled at 26 on Spotify. For the record: I'm so so super happy that in 2023, we're actually discussing a Kylie song being in the UK top 10. But just suddenly surprised that it just stalled for no reason. I presume in this streaming age, it's just getting the word out to the casual listener (which apparently TV and radio isn't as effective anymore).

If Jakes Shears is in, something tells me Kylie will be there as well. She seems to be doing only NYC promo so easy to hop across the pond again.

Honestly, I understand from a financial Pov why she'd want to promote in the usa but I think the lack of UK promo is hurting. Esp with the unprecedented success of PP.

I'm still a newbie when it comes to all this ACR stuff..... so why is Harry Styles not on ACR? The song's been out for more than a year, right?

I looked up the UK Top 50 spotify and both Taylor's and AM's tracks (well, most) were below Kylie's. The top 20 is filled with a lot of old ones that are ACR candidates. However, what isn't good (but expected) is that Peggy Gho, Dua and Hannah Laine have gone ahead of Kylie.

Why the drop on Spotify? :(

Totally. Most importantly, he let her speak. Most usa and uk ones ask a celebrity guest the question, they talk over the guest and don’t let the guest say more than 2-3 sentences before going to the next question. I loved his question on the UK’s love for Kylie!

I liked the folks she employed for the Fever era videos as well.

I'm watching it now. I'm liking it - he's not asking the usual cliched questions at all and isn't overly ar*e licking or anything...but getting straight to the questions. She also looks so much more relaxed and natural. She's gorgeous, wow!
