  1. I still feel Miley will fall. I'm amazed at how poorly the album has done given that Midnight Sky was a huge airplay hit in the UK.
  2. Given this is Jesy's last, I hope this album gets to #1 some day!
  3. I just feel so sorry for her.
  4. To me, it's Touch. It's got such a basic but catchy tune, I can't help falling in love with it.
  5. Can this album sell 130-140K by end of the year?
  6. So, we can optimistically look at 120K by EOY. How amazing!
  7. Can we expect 8K total sales this week?
  8. Jesy's news + HMV sale means this album is headed back to the top ten!
  9. Agree! I was sick of all the backlash that faced poor Geri at the time. I'm thinking in my head "if you all say you're truly SG fans, then think about her". It couldn't have been easy for Jesy being in a room with 3 other girls that always got more media attention than her. I'd even read reports (although, probably unfounded) that Taylor Swift too was quite cold to Jesy back in 2015 (when they played at one of her US dates) compared to being chatty with the other 3. Regardless of all the talk that is diversity and inclusion and treating all with respect, etc. etc.... we're still a world driven largely by OPTICS. No wonder all of this took a toll on poor Jesy.
  10. They are NOTHING without Jesy. This reminds me of Geri's dep from the SG. Yes, they had the odd #1 single and hit album after ....but it wasn't the same. The SG would've carried on just fine had Mel C or Posh left. But Mel B, Emma and Geri were the CORE that were the SG. In a similar vein, when I think of LM and their X Factor days.... they became popular because of their down to earth appeal, especially highlighted in Jesy. She wasn't the perfect petite popstar. She was a regular middle class girl without the looks or body that succeeded based on talent. I'm not saying the others weren't, they were as middle class and "normal" as Jesy was, but Jesy was the one people identified with the most. She was the face of the "brand" that became LM - a good female vocal quartet. I'm sure LM would've happily marched on if Perry had left. She remains somewhat devoid of persona, falls into the "pretty petite white girl" bucket. But Jesy IS brand-LM. On a personal level, I wish her the best. She's worked so hard for her success through the obesity headlines, the bullying, everything. I always felt she had it the hardest in this group. As for LM: they can carry on as a trio for max, another album. Or they can replace her, but they'll end up becoming a generic revolving door band like Sugababes.
  11. This is such a good time to be a Kylie fan!!
  12. I wish she'd released a continuous Disco album too, like Madonna did for Confessions on a dance floor. I'm not a fan of these re-release of albums with more tracks.... better she just releases a new studio album as she sees fit.
  13. Amazing! So that’s another 8-10K in the bag!!
  14. An amazing performance overall. But it adds all the more weight that Jesy is the group. Without her, they just don’t cut it.
  15. Taylor's Evermore release made me think: stars like Madonna and Kylie usually release an album, announce a tour - and boom...it's 2-3 years at least before we get a new album. But with no potential touring in 2021, could album #16 come sooner than expected?
  16. Ideally, I'd want it to sell another 8K each week for it to reach the 120K mark by end of Dec.
  17. Yeah.... I see your point there. I just hope Disco is Top 25 till end of Dec so it sells a bit more. I'd like for it to hit 120K by end of the year!
  18. I understand she has done everything possible for this record, good job Kylie! Relax now. That said - are there any tv ads for the album? I still don't understand why they couldn't strike a cheap deal with ITV to show Infinite Disco for the masses. A repeat on NYE is only for fans, who've probably already seen it and won't necessarily help in record sales.
  19. Oh wow this album will easily outsell Golden!!
  20. I do think when the Week 2s and 3s fall further next week, she'll regain ground. That said: it's so foolish for her not to have any kind of Dec TV promo.
  21. At least she’s on track for 10K and should hopefully clear 100K by Friday!
  22. True! Who'd have thought, even during Golden release that in 2020, she'd have an album that sells faster (and more, eventually) than Golden!
  23. Yeah, I saw that too! I wonder for what and when. What happened to the Strictly Come Dancing? I thought she'd bag a perf there. I can imagine her singing Real Groove or DF Darling with all the couples dancing around her!
  24. At least, we can say Disco has overtaken KMO sales!
  25. Thank you ! I’m expecting a climb of 2-3 places Oops edit: 1 place
