  1. Well, #15 isn't bad. I didn't see her stay top 10 anwyays...so #12 or #15...not too big of a difference. Key is that she sells, I'm hoping she clears 100-120K by EOY. She should hopefully be 78K-80K by Friday?
  2. The thing I remember about this album is - it's 2007 Q4, X Factor is huge.... K is invited.... and she sings WOW to a huge audience, and it goes top ten immediately. Even to this today, I think of her singing "The One" or "In My arms" instead. "X" to me represents missed opportunities. On one hand, you had classic classic solid pop songs like "The One", "Like a drug", IMA..... you had the cool edgy stuff like Speakerphone....but it all went tits up with the lead release that had NOTHING in spirit or tone with the rest of album. And to top it off, the wasted US effort of "All I see", and the horrid video to boot. I am surprised the Kylie Show didn't bring in the numbers though. I thought both The One and Sensitised were done very well. EDIT to add: I'll never understand why K loves Wow so much. It's no LAFS! So very true! And to think she outsold Taylor, Gaga, Adriana, etc. - the ones that get all radio airplay, media and streaming love.
  3. Realistically, does this fine album have a chance of hitting #1 in Jan 2021 with low sales? Sort of like the Dua Lipa scenario....slow week #1 kind of thing? It's just a brilliant album wall to wall of bangers I'd hate for it to end up as a #2.
  4. All 3 girls looked lovely but gosh, they looked SO LOST without Jesy. It just hit home how much this group needs Jesy. I pray she's ok, pray for her recovery and I hope to hell she's coming back. Without her, there is no LM.
  5. I reckon she'll be top ten tomorrow but could fall to #12-#15 by EOW. That said, I concur with a lot of posts here. More than Golden (which was like her LY), "Disco" feels like her "Fever" - good media coverage, good reviews, and a superstar doing what she does best - a pop / dance /disco album. My guess is - this season will have high debuts all Dec long (like we saw with Busted, Paloma, etc.) but will fall faster than her, which means she'll be hanging around the top 20. if only they could announce Infiite Disco on ITV sometime between 15-24 Dec, that'll seal the deal!
  6. What’s to say it won’t come to TV? BMG May strike a deal with ITV and broadcast it in Dec?
  7. Lovely song. Tahnk God Perrie's got a small part
  8. Agree. Plus the fact that it’s a busy time means the album will sell well. I think it’ll outsell Golden
  9. Regardless of the outcome, I’m so happy for and proud of LM. To be a girl band at still on top of their game for over a decade is simply amazing
  10. This photo always brings a smile to my face. Both acts are such huge fans of each other. That’s how it should be!
  11. I don’t think for a single minute they’ve split up, and I hope not. They need another uk #1 album!!
  12. Well said! Plus older she gets, even radio support will diminish. I was upset that R1 never bothered playing a snippet of her songs at all.
  13. This is so exciting.... so easy peasey 70K in 2 weeks!!
  14. My apologies, looks like we were posting at the same time!
  15. Mids are in!!! 1 AC/DC - Power Up (53.6k) * 2 McFly - Young Dumb Thrills (17.7k) * 3 Paloma Faith - Infinite Things (13.2k) * 4 Andrea Bocelli - Believe (12.4k) * 5 Kylie Minogue - DISCO (11.9k)
  16. I still love this album. My favourites still are: 1. Tightrope 2. CIMW single version (with the breathier vocals) 3. LAFS 4. Fragile 5. Love Affair Ironically, CGYOOMH is the Kylie single I least listen to, in the Parlo era ;)
  17. I do honestly believe Jesy needs some time out. We don't know waht's going on in her life, but I Do wish her the best. Without her, there is NO Little Mix. Infact, so many of my friends who are casual LM fans refer to LM as "Jesy and girls". Yes! She's the face of LM.
  18. I know, I know, I know..... it's way too early to be thinking about it, we need to enjoy #15 first! Normally, a Kylie or Madonna album release is followed by a tour announcement, and then the tour prep, actual tour....all of that itself takes around 2 years so we don't get new stuff soon. But with COVID and everything else going on, I don't see her announcing a global tour anytime soon. And knowing our girl, she gets restless pretty quick and will want to jump on the new project asap. So, assuming she dives into a studio album, what direction do you think she'll go? Will it be another experimental (like BL, Golden, IP, etc.) or a straight forward dance record (Fever, Aphrodite, Disco)? I've always wanted her to do a pop-electronica like Ray of Light, or All Saints Black Coffee (William Orbit) or dance-electronica like some of Faithless 90s records. What about you lot?
  19. True. I'm just stunned at how well DISCO has done. This almost reminds me the Fever era. Not in terms of sales or radio airplay, but media and public goodwill has been overwhelming. This bodes well for album #16!
  20. I'm rooting for #3. Paloma just doesn't have that kind of fanbase. All the fans would've bought by now. What's the compteition next week?
  21. Nothing against LM, but is LM really such a threat in week 2 as well? I'd have thought all the die-hards would've purchased, and the streaming, whilst amazing can't be enough to go higher than K?
  22. By far, Jesy! Worst is Perrie, she's like a low rent Ella Henderson
