  1. Where did you hear it? Still not found the full song, pls mesg me with the link if it's floating around somewhere, thanks in advance. I agree it's an improvement over MOM. Big big improvement but I still think EOSN is something else! It's a kylie-beast mode we've never seen before!
  2. I'm expecting a top 5 on UK NMF as well, here's hoping! It's kind of interesting - Kylie's songs generally tend to chart higher in the UK than Oz, but she seems to get higher placements on Aus/NZ NMFs! Already up to 15!!
  3. I caved in and heard it. I think I like the verses more than the chorus! The voice delivery again is fierce and also kind of playful in a 90s Madonna kind of way. It's no Padam (but which one is?). The song is catchy and commercial enough that had this been recorded by a "flavour of the month" artist with streaming numbers and radio support, I can easily see this going UK top 3. Given the "limitations" an artist like Kylie faces, I still say with the right promo, NMF placings and physical release and all, this song still has top 20 potential. Again, no Padam (I don't see it going viral) but it's catchy and fun.
  4. I'm still undecided. Very unfair for me to jump to conclusions based on a few clips we've seen/heard so far. But even with a the 10-15 sec music snippet of Padam, I was way way more excited than I am for LCA. Time will tell, literally 2 days'ish to go.
  5. If LCA were released by a 20yo whom R1 would playlist in a heartbeat, then yes. But age and radio airplay are against Kylie, sadly.
  6. Oh gosh, absolutely living for the album. Yes, it's not progressive or something but so pleasant, and the vocals are amazing. My standouts are so far are Santa Fe, Into Gold (wow) and Fakest Bitch.
  7. I was one of those for "EOSN" - thinking it'll be a top 40 hit. But listening to LCA, I have ZERO expectations for the song. Sounds like generic eurodance fluff in the "Prada" vein, that's all over radio these days. At this point, I'm just hoping the middle aged rich gays show up and fork up when she releases 178 variants of Tension II and send the album to no1.
  8. I doubt blessed Madonna’s album will even make top 5. I understand about Ragnbone man and ABBA. But Kylie’s label aren't fools when it comes to album releases: they’re well aware thar Kylie’s fans are loyal, are collectionists and have enough disposable income to buy a few variants. So depending on how the temperature heats up, I’m sure they’ll chuck in a few extra variants on D day. As others have pointed out here and in other forums, obviously Kylie and team didn’t have enough of a new sound for this to warrant a new album. But songs seemed good enough not to throw away so hey, let’s make this a mini album event. I haven’t seen the competition list for that week but safe to say she’s got the uk no1 album in the bag if it’s a normal week wirh minimal competition. No doubt she can safely clear 30K as others have pointed.
  9. I heard a vocal snippet on tiktok and at first listen - seems to be in the same genre as MOM. Kind of light weight tacky euro disco. I may love it later but unless there’s a viral moment or something, I don’t see this making much of noise. Still, I’m not complaining as 37+ years after falling in love with her, I’m still getting quality new music. How many fans get to say that?!
  10. We got more than a 3 day heads-up for Padam so I doubt its happening this Friday Either way, she better release the album before end Oct if she wants better chances at a uk #1 album.
  11. If this is a brand new campaign and all, I'm sure she'd want to be in the R2 studios in person to announce it, etc. and afaik, she's in Singapore this weekend at the grand prix event.
  12. Love both songs for different reasons.
  13. Mirwais and Cathy are so 2000. Please don't bother Kylie!
  14. I cannot wait!! She's found her stride!
  15. That is true - I was quite surprised and impressed to even see some of the Fever singles getting 40-50K streams a day. (of course Head will always be her biggest).
  16. The only logical explanation I can think of is that the label has told her to focus on increasing streaming numbers, etc. and hence even a small %age of the usa population will help achieve it.
  17. Given it's done over 2mil streams, I'm surprised it still doesn't show up on her most streamed songs list. It would be in the 130s/140s in the list.
  18. I don’t think they are. Like dance alone, they shot a video and pushed the song to radio and did their bit of social media awareness and from this point on, they’ll be happy with slow trickle of streams perhaps. I can think of a 2nd round promo when the Raye remix drops (I’m sure it’ll happen) but I doubt it’ll do much behind few more streams.
  19. I’m sure it’s gotten more streams than her 500th most streamed song at 150K.
  20. It received great reviews and was blocked by wet, wet, wet “love is all around“. I don’t know if it was a serious contender for number one, I can’t remember what the gap was between number one and number two. But, I think in 1994, whilst she was trying to establish herself as a dance artist., There’s still was that issue of having a bridge in the fan base. So regardless of the Meagher of this song, I don’t know if a song could’ve been a number one hit in 1994.
  21. Oh gosh I could go on for days about this one. Absolute classic. Ground breaking. As someone described it once - the best James Bond theme song that Madonna never recorded. We didn’t have social media those days, so all I know is that Kylie went dark for nearly 2 years. And out of the blue, we see her perform and exclusive on top of the pops – brand new style, dress, and sound. All I can remember, thinking was wow, and I still feel that way 30 years later, every time I hear the song.
  22. At first I was also disappointed but then reminded myself that they days, for every 10 dance records released by a well Known artist also, only 1-2 manage a sizeable commercials hit. It’d also about streams for Kylie for this one Speaking of, why isn’t this song on either’s “most streamed songs” list yet?
  23. EOSN Misnight DA And MOM is sooooo bad it doesn’t even deserve a spot on the list
