Thanks for all the Mama updates.... I now see that it’s been dropped from Radio 2 after what, two weeks?? This whole thing is even more of a mess given that Spotify pushed Mama at the expense of Baby....

So Mama is A List on Radio 2, is it being played anywhere else? I can’t tell what’s happening with this song...

I can’t remember where Baby entered but it must be getting close to a new peak (finally). Still not sure it’s ever going to quite reach the Top 10. Official Chart Top 10, that is.

Good growth for Baby finally. Official Top 10 is possible!

It’s going to chart around #16 tomorrow. I figure it now has two weeks to either go Top 10, or never make it. Radio support can’t last too much longer. I’d love Marina to get her first Top 10!

Just curious, which chart songs are likely to hit ACR next week and plummet? Wouldn’t mind being rid of Thursday!

It’s just been updated. Baby is up to #17 which is a virtual miracle considering how poorly it’s been supported by Spotify. But it reflects where it’s at in the midweeks. Will that boost its streams significantly? Actually now think there’s a chance it goes Top 10 this month after all.

Yes same.... presumably it will rise into Top 20 in next week’s chart. The question is whether it will then get boosted into a similar position on Hot Hits UK or just left to fester.

Surely Mariah has done enough for No.1. Taking ACR into account, Ava was only a bit ahead for the first two days, but then Mariah’s going to have four days in the lead, including 24th-26th with a huge lead. Don’t know how they are going to estimate Thursday’s streams or how much of a difference downloads make, but I’m now predicting Mariah.

Me too! But I guess it’s still big on radio and just up to Radio 1 A List. It’s also taken off on YouTube in past few days. But think a post-Christmas official Top 20 might be the best we get.

Interesting if that’s the case, they should get him to do more promo! It’s kept up the higher view rate. Hopefully a sign this song still has some way to go.

Anyone have any idea why YouTube views have picked up hugely in last few days? It was doing well under a million a day last week, now suddenly it’s done 5 million in 48 hours.

Anyone care to predict how high Baby is going to climb after Royal Variety performance tonight?

That’s true but streaming wasn’t much better on Fri/Sat than it was on Sunday, so hoping it can still go Top 20 this week.

Baby is finally Top 20 in the latest midweek update. How much of a boost do you think it can get from being performed on the Royal Variety tonight? I’m guessing it will rise quite a lot on iTunes.

Really surprised that Baby is Top 20. Hopefully Royal Variety tomorrow will keep it there by Friday.
